I appreciate how much work you put into this, Ron. But reading it in such a concentrating form.....it's unrelenting. It makes me want to slit my wrists at the thought of 3 more years of this. The country is already unrecognizable.

Sylvia Arrowood's avatar

This will not go for another three years. We the People are rising strong. Just wait.

Scooterboi60's avatar

I hope so. It’s what I’ve been encouraging America to do for a long time.

This just in from Gil Duran's "The Nerd Reich" newsletter: [https://www.thenerdreich.com/tech-billionaires-threaten-to-flee-california-again/]

"Tech billionaires in California are furious. A new proposal for a wealth tax on the super rich has them packing their bags and threatening to leave the Golden State for good.

" ... Oligarchs regularly make such threats and fail to follow through, so we must take such antics with a grain of salt. But the possibility of a new tax on super wealth shows that backlash against the fat cat class is coming, and the billionaires’ threats to flee show just how much they fear fairness and accountability.

"The Service Employees International Union-United Health Workers union is pushing a ballot measure to impose a one-time 5% tax on California billionaires. If approved by voters, it would apply retroactively to anyone living in the state on January 1, 2026.

" ... While the measure is not yet on the ballot, the billionaires are panicking. And they have a powerful ally: California governor Gavin Newsom, the former right-wing podcaster who is running for president in 2028. Newsom “is raising money for a committee to oppose the measure,” per the NYT. (So thoughtful of Newsom to come to the aid of the poor suffering billionaires at this particular time in history.)

" ... Even Ro Khanna, Silicon Valley’s congressman, has jumped on the bandwagon.

“I echo what FDR said with sarcasm of economic royalists when they threatened to leave, ‘I will miss them very much,’” Khanna, who is cozy with some of the worst billionaires in tech, wrote on X.

"This drew howls of protest from several tech zillionaires, who are now threatening to fund a primary challenge against him."

There's no greed quite like the greed of billionaires.

How they think leaving is a "threat" might be the goofiest thing of 2025.

Oaktown's avatar

True. Them leaving would be an answer to my prayers. But remember how the orange one swore he'd leave NYC if Mamdani won? They never leave—or if they do, they come back within a year. They need us far more than we need them.

With all due respects Sylvia . . . just wait and wait and wait . . . . How much longer? And if it does go longer than 3 more years, just wait some more? How are 'the people' rising in any meaningful way? If we define 'People' as members of Congress? How are they rising now? If not now, when?

Julie's avatar

I feel the same frustration and despair as you do.

Connie Larsen's avatar

He will have to resign or kick the bucket! He is a treasonous, corrupt incompetent, unhealthy, dieing mess!

Julie's avatar

I don’t think it will make it that long, either. I don’t see how it can. There is too much constant destruction. Terrible things happen on the daily, and the country will just crack apart and fail. People will be sick, broke, and dead from the constant onslaught of horrible.

Mike Hammer's avatar

My existentialitis has been acting up.

Julie's avatar

I feel the same but we need to see it and feel it in concentrated form so we become even more unrelenting and throw these cretins OUT of office. Every day I feel deep grief for the US. And it IS totally unrecognizable.

Excellent reporting. But incredibly sad n disturbing.

Please find a publishing company n get these printed in a book. !!!! 🇺🇸

I agree, Ron. These are valuable references to the fire hose of horrors intended to overwhelm us.

I also hope you supplement this with two more important records: 1) a list of every person the Orange Tyrant has pardoned, what they were convicted of and sentenced to, and any criminal conduct they've committed since their pardons, and 2) a list of every media organization, law school, college, university, and corporation that paid money to the tyrant regime instead of standing up to defend our Constitution, the law, free speech, and civil liberties for *all* Americans—and what perks they got in return for their cowardly, greedy corruption.

Suzie's avatar

I would really love to print this list of 500 when completed. It is so overwhelming. I can only read in small snapshots. I don't want to miss anything.

The links to parts 1, 2, 3 & 4 will be in the 5th email. Well organized, Ron and thank you so much for all your hard work.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Thanks, Ron. I do not want to relive the trauma but I push through the list regardless. It is gut wrenching. I hate that son of bitch for destroying our country!

Paige Haupt's avatar

Kudos to Ron for this immaculate portrayal of the hell we’ve been living in for the last year. It’s hard to read and relive these horrendous actions of the most corrupt administration in history, but we owe it to ourselves to keep this in the forefront of our minds.

Terri P Williams's avatar

MSNow had a list of 12! Are you kidding me 12? I'm liking these posts as we know 12 just doesn't cut it.

Mardie Corcoran's avatar

I’m having trouble getting myself to read the worst things list…small increments of reading and then a break. So awful and so sad. Thank you, Ron. I read you everyday even when it’s painful. How did we let this awful person surrounded by awful people, all embracing awful unconstitutional, anti-democracy, anti American ideas, take over our once (a year ago) wonderful country?

Oaktown's avatar

Ask the Nerd Reich. Ever notice how this climate of social division, isolation, and self destructive tendencies started the same time "smart" phones and social media algorithms took off? Lots of research on this subject.

I fervently hope I live long enough to see all these horrible fuckers in prison. ALL. OF. THEM.

Sylvia Arrowood's avatar

All of this needs to be put into a book and sent to every single MAGA.

JP MEYER's avatar

unfortunately they are too blinded to be able to see the truth. Being completely indoctrinated by Fox Propaganda, they will never see the light. All psychologists say that getting a person de-programed from a cult is nearly impossible.

Why are the Republicans not IMPEACHING this president...PUTIN'S PUPPRT??????

Donna R.'s avatar

Ron you're the best for doing this. Day 3 and again I don't need to read it as I lived it and want to spare myself the concentrated horror.

Stay sane Ron 💙.

2026 will be the year we put a leash and muzzle on him.

Nancy Richardson's avatar

Great job, Ron. Thank you.

Mary Metzger's avatar

Thank you, Ron. It's all dispiriting...maybe the pardons most of all.

Robert Taylor's avatar

Hey guy the fucking year ain’t quite over yet and tRump now says he hit a loading dock in Venezuela! And not a fucking peep from MSM or CONGRESS! I am really beginning to hate this fucking country and just the deplorable MAGA. DEMS are no better.

Oaktown's avatar

Please don't confuse *all* Dems with the clueless party "leadership." We must start vetting all candidates now to expose the ones who are being bought off by big tech and fat cats so they can't secure a nomination.

Joe Mann's avatar

Are you limited to only 500?

Maya Nova's avatar

Hey how are you doing I just gave a follow I’ll be greatful if you can follow back

Thank you for all you do! How do you find the time?
