A Message to the Meidas Mighty!!

Hi Meidas Mighty. It’s Ben Meiselas, co-founder of the MeidasTouch Network. I will keep this message short.

This has been a particularly challenging week for the country. From the aftermath of an unlawful invasion of Venezuela to the murder of Renee Nicole Good by Trump’s ICE gestapo in Minneapolis, it has been a nonstop deluge of Trump’s lawlessness. Through it all, you’ve stayed on the fight and this community has grown stronger.

I always want to check in with everyone at the end of the week. I know this can be exhausting and demoralizing. I know your efforts can feel lonely and thankless at times. That’s why I always want to remind you that you are never alone in this fight. Always remember, there are more of us than there are of them.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to interview New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on his initiative with Governor Hochul to expand free childcare in New York. I interviewed Senator Schiff, Congressman Khanna, and Congressman Walkinshaw. I worked with Status Coup News to bring you exclusive footage from Minneapolis and the Meidas DC Bureau continued its vital work on Capitol Hill.

As you can tell from the first week of this year, this is not going to be easy. Trump will ramp up his tactics. But guess what? So will we, in terms of holding this regime accountable and building the largest pro-democracy force the world has ever seen. We prepared for this. We are ready. There is no force more powerful than the people when they are united, and we are all fighting together.
