I just sat down with Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva and it’s clear to me she’s about to flip the script in Washington. MAGA Mike Johnson and Donald Trump are panicking because with Adelita’s swearing-in, Democrats will have the 218th signature needed to force a House vote on releasing the Epstein files. Tick. Tock.
Think about that. One new congresswoman from Arizona’s 7th District could be enough to shatter Trump’s cover-up and expose more of his dark past. That’s why MAGA is already trying to delay her swearing-in. They know the moment Adelita signs that discharge petition, the Epstein files come one step closer to daylight.
Adelita didn’t just win—she crushed it, outperforming Kamala Harris’s 2024 numbers by over 20 points. The people of Arizona sent a message loud and clear: they want leaders who fight for transparency, justice, and working families, not for Trump’s billionaire buddies and corrupt cronies.
In our conversation, Adelita made it clear that she’s not going to Washington for the ceremonial dinners or photo ops. She’s going there to work. To protect social safety nets, defend immigrant families, and restore accountability to a government MAGA has turned into a corrupt circus. She said it best herself: “This election is not about me.” It’s about the people.
Meanwhile, Trump is playing his same tired games. He’s threatening Republicans who signed the petition, ordering Johnson to shut down the government, and trying to bully his way out of accountability. The more he squirms, the more it shows us he’s scared. Scared of the truth coming out. Scared of women like Adelita stepping up and saying, “No more.”
That’s why I’m proud to share this interview. Because while Trump hides, Adelita is ready to fight for justice, for her district, and for the country. This is what real leadership looks like.
