The military needs to explain why they are following orders that have absolutely no justification for them to do so. They need to remember the oath they took to the Constitution. Ultimately, the military will be held accountable for anything that goes wrong, not thus evil regime.
I blame the SCOTUS, the House and the Senate, as we as the Military. They all took an oath to uphold our Constitution and to protect the people. I would like to know why they are not doing so.

Delegations of Legislative authority such as allowing Executive Direction of laws such as Tariffs and the BBB. Refusals to support and maintain the health structure by delegating oversight of Administrative Agencies (CDS, NIH, etc.) and attacks on others such as the Federal Reserve Board. Failures to enforce constitutionally mandated checks and balances (e.g., regulation of currency, declarations of war, non-enforcement of Congressional subpoenas (Epstein). More? There are many reasons.

Piracy was a hanging offense starting with the period of major ships (early exploration). You had to have a substantial ship to become a pirate of any kind. But some pirates received a license to practice piracy against the ships of enemy countries; they were called "privateers". Despite the romantic image (from movies and romance novels), it was a dog-eat-dog existence. It still is; there are plenty of pirates especially in the routes between Africa and India.

I strongly suspect that this is an attempt to get more control over Venezuela's oil revenue and facilities for Putin, Trump's financial and political benefactor, now that Ukraine is destroying much of Russia's oil facilities.
