BIG NEWS: MEIDAS Hitting 26 States to FIGHT BACK with AFL-CIO!!!
Hitting 26 states across the country leading up to Labor Day
MeidasTouch Network will be embedded with the AFL-CIO this summer on their Bus Tour across America to cover their great work with labor leaders. Here is the first article from President Liz Shuler at the AFL-CIO about the first days of the tour:

Unfortunately the worst job-killing bill in American history is now law. At Donald Trump’s direction, Republicans in Congress handed a $5 trillion giveaway to billionaires, paid for by ripping health care away from 17 million people, jacking up energy and care costs for working families, and destroying millions of jobs.
But here’s what they weren’t counting on: working people escalating the campaign to fight back. And that’s why we’re taking this battle outside of D.C., and all across the country!
With your help we’re going to make sure that every working person knows who sold them out with the Big Disastrous Bill and keep organizing until we build an economy with the foundation of freedom, fairness and security that we all deserve.
This week, the AFL-CIO and America’s unions launched the “It’s Better in a Union: Fighting for Freedom, Fairness, and Security” bus tour!
We’re hitting 26 states in the lead-up to Labor Day, engaging thousands of working people—at jobsites and homes, in communities large and small—about their fights to organize workplaces, win fair contracts and counteract the impact that reckless policies like Trump’s Big Disastrous Bill will have on their lives.
As I told the Meidas Mighty, the bus tour will join picket lines, support organizing campaigns, visit Veterans Affairs and Medicaid-funded facilities and hospitals gutted by DOGE, and speak directly with workers whose jobs have been ripped away by unnecessary cuts driven by the Trump administration. We’re going to make sure workers know who sold them out to pay for a tax cut for billionaires, who took away their health care and who betrayed them by voting for the worst job-killing bill in our country’s history.
After launching the tour on Wednesday, we joined UNITE HERE Local 23 for an event to protect food service jobs at the U.S. House of Representatives. Then Saturday, we headed down to Newport News, Virginia, to rally with the United Steelworkers (USW) and lift up the veterans whose jobs and benefits have been put on the chopping block by the Trump administration.
From there, the bus tour will continue to roll through the South—making stops in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia—to shine a light on and build power with the workers organizing (and winning) against all odds in “right to work” states and across the region.
And soon we’ll have our second bus kicking things off in Michigan!
We hope you will join us on the road as we build power with workers and demand freedom, fairness and security for all.

Absolutely love this idea!!
