Billionaire Ego Meets Presidential Wrath
Elon thought his money made him untouchable. Trump thought loyalty was non-negotiable. I told you the fallout was coming—and now, Musk is about to feel real pain.
Guest article by Michael Cohen
Months ago—on television, in my Substack, in print—I called it. I said, clearly and without hesitation, that the so-called bromance between Donald Trump and Elon Musk would end in disaster. Not because I’m clairvoyant, but because I know Trump. I know how he operates. I know what he values. And I know, without question, what happens when someone like Elon Musk starts believing his own bullshit hype.
Let me be clear: Trump didn’t change. Elon did. Or rather, Elon revealed more of who he truly is—a man whose arrogance is exceeded only by his belief that wealth equals immunity. He thought he could play both sides; cozy up to Trump when it served him, posture as a renegade tech messiah when it didn’t, and glide untouched above the consequences. But as I said before: no one—and I mean no one—dances with Trump and walks away clean, especially not when they bring their own ego to the ballroom.
Here’s what Elon got wrong, and continues to get wrong: being rich doesn’t make you untouchable. Being powerful doesn’t make you immune. You are never richer than the United States government. And you are certainly never more powerful than the President of the United States—especially when that president is Donald J. Trump.
Musk made the fatal error of thinking he could outmaneuver Trump, that he could leverage proximity to influence policy, deflect regulation, or build his businesses on the back of MAGA-friendly lip service. But that illusion is crumbling fast. Because now, Trump’s administration is floating investigations into Tesla contracts, SpaceX agreements—even into the very electric vehicle mandates Musk once championed. The whispers are becoming policy points. And Musk? He’s in the crosshairs—exactly where I said he’d end up.
It didn’t take much. A few pointed comments here. A not-so-subtle tweet there. And suddenly, Musk is no longer a maverick billionaire with the president’s ear. He’s a problem to be dealt with, a threat to be neutralized. Because in Trump’s orbit, loyalty isn’t just expected—it’s enforced. Elon never understood that. He never grasped that proximity to power requires total submission, not strategic alliance.
Now, the enablers are circling. Congressional Republicans who once praised Elon’s “genius” will fall in line to investigate, criticize, and chip away at his empire—not because of ideology, but because Trump demands it. They’ll come for his tax credits, his government contracts, his subsidies, his money. Not because Musk did anything different, but because his usefulness expired. That’s how this game works.
And Musk? He’s still playing it like he’s in control. Still tweeting like public opinion will protect him. Still believing that because he owns a rocket company and a half-broken social media site, he’s shielded from political fallout. But this isn’t Silicon Valley. This is Washington, D.C., and the rules are different here. Influence is transactional. Loyalty is enforced. And once you’re on the wrong side of the President—any president, but especially this one—the gloves come off and you are fucked.
To be clear, this isn’t some personal feud between Trump and Musk. It’s bigger than that. It’s about power, control, and what happens when a man who thinks he’s untouchable discovers he’s not. It’s about a billionaire who believed that the system would always bend to his will, finding out that the system has teeth. And yes, it’s about Trump reminding everyone—especially Elon—that no one is above the throne.
So, here we are. Elon Musk, who thought he could outplay the presidency, is now facing investigations, regulatory reviews, and a cold shoulder from the very administration he tried to cozy up to. His mistake wasn’t backing Trump. His mistake was thinking he could use Trump. That he could control the chaos, harness the unpredictability, ride the tiger and not get bitten.
He forgot what I’ve never stopped knowing, what I have never stopped yelling from the rooftop: Trump always collects. Not out of spite, but out of instinct. When loyalty fades, consequences follow. And for Musk, those consequences are only just beginning.
So no, I don’t feel bad for him. I don’t celebrate his pain, but I do recognize it for what it is: inevitable. Predictable. And entirely self-inflicted.
I said this would happen. I knew this would happen. And now that it is, I’ll say it one last time for the people in the back:
Elon Musk has no idea what’s in store for him. But I do. Because I’ve seen this play out before. And in Trump’s world, the house always wins.
SERIOUSLY… WHERE ARE ALL THE NEW SUPPORTERS?
WE CAN’T DO THIS ALONE.
If you’re reading this, then you already know:
This isn’t just a newsletter. It’s a call to arms.
We’re not here to observe. We’re here to confront. To expose. To drag corruption out into the light and hold it accountable. But the truth? I can’t do this without you. Not anymore.
The fight ahead isn’t theoretical. It’s here. It’s now. And it’s relentless. We’re staring down the barrel of authoritarianism wrapped in a flag and selling freedom as a brand.
So let me ask you—Are you in?
Because this isn’t a passive read. This is a movement. And movements need muscle.
We need to build something so loud, so unshakable, that no one can twist it, spin it, or shut it down. That takes real support—not clicks, not likes. Commitment.
If you believe in truth, if you’re tired of watching the liars win, if you’re done shouting into the void, then it’s time to take the next step.

But this isn’t about a book.
It’s about defiance.
It’s about refusing to be gaslit.
It’s about locking arms and saying, “Not on our watch.”
You want to make a difference?
Then make it.
Right now.
Because if we don’t fight for truth—no one will.
And if we fight together? They’ll never drown us out.
Let’s be impossible to ignore.
Let’s be un-fucking-breakable.
Let’s go.
Maybe Elon will reveal how he rigged the election for taco as revenge.
Just remember, the enemy of your enemy is NEVER EVER your friend.
