BREAKING: I Just Interviewed Gavin Newsom on His Plan to End Trump's Presidency

Fresh off a major press conference, the California governor lays out his plan to stop Trump from sabotaging the 2026 midterms in an interview with MeidasTouch

I just sat down with California Governor Gavin Newsom right after his “Big, Beautiful Press Conference” in Los Angeles, and he just ruined Trump’s day. Newsom laid it out plain: the moment Democrats retake the House in 2026, Trump’s presidency is effectively over. And that’s exactly why Trump is trying to rig the game before a single vote is cast.

Newsom revealed a bold new campaign to neutralize Trump and his loyal enabler Greg Abbott’s scheme in Texas. His plan: defend democracy, uphold the rule of law, and let voters, not would-be dictators, decide. Predictably, Trump responded with one of the most pathetic displays of authoritarian weakness you’ll ever see, sending Border Patrol and ICE to intimidate attendees at the very location where Japanese Americans were once forcibly interned.

We also talked about the Trump I’ve seen in private—small, insecure, obsessed with his own nicknames and cheap hats—nothing like the “tough guy” he pretends to be on stage. Gavin didn’t mince words: this is a presidency in freefall, propped up only by election manipulation, crony capitalism, and a corporate media too afraid to hold him accountable.

The governor’s Election Rigging Response Act will be introduced in the California legislature on Monday, with maps finalized and a vote set for November 4th. His message is clear: passion isn’t enough. We need action, we need urgency, and we need to fight fire with fire. And he's doing just that.
