On this Veterans Day I am watching a documentary of the Vietnam War and the service men and women who fought and died/lived through the horrors of that war. I think of all of the men and women who have since given their lives and have come home damaged physically and mentally. As a young person, i was so affected by the Vietnam War…as soon as I could i volunteered. While there were many devastating events, knowing I gave back to my country was the greatest honor of my life.
