SPEAKER 4
Well, Donald Trump's having quite the morning. He woke up finding that at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, they're playing AI videos of Donald Trump kissing Elon Musk's feet. Very weird. Donald Trump then went on a posting tear to just post lots of things that have the number billions in front of him.
0:19
So he goes investments in the U.S., Under President Trump, $14.1 billion bid from Nippon Steel, $20 billion from Hussein Sajwani, $500 billion over four years from Apple, $500 billion over four years from Stargate, $600 billion from Saudi Arabia. I feel like it's... Dr. Evil, $1 trillion, just putting up numbers while he's like crashing our economy,
0:45
taking away people's Medicaid, gutting our federal government, taking America out of our alliances. He's posting more about Apple has just announced a record $500 billion investment in the United States of America. Look, Apple's an American company and invests billions of dollars all the time. Yes, Donald, Apple is a big company.

Dem Rep on Trump’s Chaos, Elon’s Power Plays, and the Fight to Hold Them Accountable

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi joins me to expose Trump’s reckless agenda and Elon Musk’s unchecked influence—while Americans demand real answers.

Donald Trump woke up today, as he does most days, in a fog of delusion. He spent his morning firing off bizarre social media posts, throwing around random billion-dollar figures like a bad parody of Dr. Evil. Meanwhile, the country is facing a real economic crisis—rising costs, gutted social programs, and a healthcare system on the brink. But Trump? He’s busy selling cheap merch and promising desperate donors a golden ticket to Mar-a-Lago.

To cut through the noise, I had Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi on the show to talk about what’s really happening behind the scenes. And let me tell you—people are pissed. Not just Democrats. Republicans and independents are flooding congressional offices with calls and are showing up at town halls, demanding answers about the shady deals and reckless policies coming out of Trump’s White House.

Take Elon Musk, for example. This guy has somehow wormed his way into government decision-making, with private access to critical federal data. And when Americans demand accountability—when we say, “Just have him testify under oath”—Republicans fold like cheap lawn chairs. Why? Because Musk is threatening them. He’s holding their reelections hostage with the promise of primary challengers bankrolled by his billions.

And while all of this is happening, Trump is laser-focused on—wait for it—banning paper straws. I wish I were making this up. Meanwhile, grocery prices are skyrocketing, avian flu is spiraling out of control, and Americans are struggling just to get by.

But here’s the good news: People aren’t asleep at the wheel anymore. Voters across the nation, even in ruby red districts, are showing up at Republican town halls, demanding to know why their private data is being handed over to Musk. They’re watching as Trump and his cronies push large Medicaid cuts just to fund tax breaks for billionaires. They’re realizing that the “populist” act was always a con.

So what do we do? We fight back. We hold these people accountable. We use our votes, our voices, and every tool at our disposal to expose their corruption. Congressman Krishnamoorthi laid it out clearly: There’s no magic fix, but we have a roadmap—speak out, challenge their decisions in court, leverage every budget and debt ceiling vote to make them answer for their actions, and, most importantly, take back power in 2026 and 2028.

The resistance to Trump’s chaos is growing, and we’re leading the charge. If you’re as fired up as we are, consider joining as a paid subscriber today.

You're right--if Project 2025 has its way the last election was the last! Trump told everyone all he needed was votes; "Just vote for me this one last time and afterward we'll have it fixed 'so good' that you'll never have to vote again!"

That's what he said. That's the agenda. The problem? Trump is a paper tiger. He's a pretend "king" with the brains of an amoeba and no real power. He and Musk will be unseated and once they are rendered powerless the race to survive will be on.

Expect to see a lot of Lindsey Graham-type BS; "I've gone as far as I can go ... but, this is too far!" (paraphrased). He said this after one of Dumpty's impeachments. What a carload of crap he and his fellow Rethugs are!

Vance is worse. I get the feeling he wants Frump The Dump to fade out so he can take over. If he thinks Musk is going to give way to him--today or tomorrow--he's as delusional as the orange idiot!

Hang tough. MTN and The Meidas Mighty are growing. As for Trump and pals? They're losing with the Chief Loser. We The People are rising up and it's beyond party lines. It's all about the human condition under this siege and it is without limit to race, creed, color, age, or religion!

Republican congressman won't stand up to Trump or Elon for fear of Elon following through on his threats to bankroll candidates to run against them if they go against Trump. The thing is, not standing up to them is pissing their constituents off. And we all know Elon will bankroll people to run against them regardless. So, not standing up is actually hurting their chances of re-election. That, or not standing up is going to land us in a Dictatorship and ALL of Congress will all be out of jobs. Is there any possibility that former VP Harris is behind the movement to challenge the election results? Why are we seeing more and more of her? On another note, I just watched a video where four men remove a middle aged woman from a town hall meeting. She repeatedly asked to see their ID, but nothing was presented, thus it appears these lillte f**kers are Brownshirts and immediate action must take place. This begs the question why would men attending this event not throw punches at these pathetic vile Nazis. Had I been there I would have taken at least three of them out. I know this from past experience when I had to take on three bikers (Nomads), who were relentlessly attacking my gay friend and not a single person came to help. Too many good people are afraid and it must be part of our mission to ensure those who will stand up to bullies, they always back down. We need to join arms, listen to the likes of the governor of Illinois, and arrange massive protests. I have seen dates, but could they be published often?

I don't think this is hypocrisy, but an accurate perception, like 1+1=2. The remedies we need, and which were mandated by our Constitution, are impeachment and/or other Congressional action to block Trump & Co. from hollowing out the government and the military in order to grift and cheat and bumble their way in an effort to rob us blind by siphoning anything than can be sold or traded into their personal coffers.

Muskrat should t be accessing any bodies anything. I don’t recall voting him into office for anything. If SCROTUS was brave and honestly working for the people…they would investigate Muskrat, when he came here, how he dropped out of Stanford, went to work and never told immigration his change. Then they’d have to decide if his actions warranted deportation. Never mind his billions. Never mind the people he employs.

His recent actions…that scrotum smelly letter he sent out on Saturday telling people to tell him the 5 talking points about their achievements last week…those are the same points he used to downsize twitter. Telling people if they’d ignore his letter, it would be taken as their resignation. Who does this?! He doesn’t work for the government…well according to his lawyers in their letter to Judge Chutkan last week.

Forget about voting the bad Republicans out. Trump signed or will sign an executive order to gain control of outside agencies, including the FEC - Federal Election Commission - which oversees and makes the laws governing elections. If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

This is the first step in taking away our right to vote. Trump did say we would never have to vote again. His bullshipt about a third term is just a smoke screen.

If we want our government back, we will have to take it back. Protest, call, rally, attend town halls. Red states, take control of your state Capitol and demand trumpmusk be stopped.

I can't get passed the fact that several Democratic Senators voted to confirm some of Trump's Cabinet nominees. These nominees are Trump's Henchmen and why in the world would a Democrat vote for their confirmation? Senator Richard Blumenthal voted for the nominee to head the Veteran's Administration. Then the next day that nominee fired several VA Employees and plans to gut that Department. Blumenthal later says he "regrets" his decision. My god how could he not know that was a bad decision. I have to assume that Democrats are not interested in any resistance. Blumenthal and several other Dems are playing by old rules which goes like this "I had to vote for Trump's nominee (henchman) because it would look bad for Dems to not be bi partisan and let Trump have his cabinet members". So pathetic and sad. I don't see any videos about this sad situation. Senator Andy Kim did the same thing but he thought Kristi Noem was a great choice. You know the dog murderer. There is no time for the fast growing and effective resistance to continue on the same path. We are in dire danger now that Trump is taking over military leadership and lawyers. He will invent some kind of "national emergency" (Elon can help with his cyber tools) and invoke martial law, arrest protestors, shut down media he doesn't like, make sure we never have another free and fair election, etc. This is just around the corner. At this point the only hope is for a formation of a strong commission of leaders to speak out on all media - get TV spots on all networks and cable - and call out this national danger as a lawful, legal commission of patriots. It needs leadership with power: Governors, Senators, Previous Presidents and Military leaders - one great united respected commission to immediately expose the truth that we all can see but don't have time to fight against in the way we are now. You have the ear of these people - please urge them to do this now - the more non-partisan the better (we welcome any who will speak out). We need a national "state of the union" exposing the dangers we face to wake up those who are still delusional or in denial about what Trump's goals are. Make it happen now.

People keep talking about how we can start righting the ship of state at midterms. However, the SAVES bill in the Senate could potentially rob married women of their right to vote. It’s sponsored by McCormick (R-Missouri). The bill requires in person voter registration and using a paper birth certificate to validate US citizenship. McCormick claimed to know nothing about the implications for married women’s voting rights at his town meeting (on YouTube). Any research going on out there about this bill?

I love what you do, Meidas+, but I still feel you have not addressed the full agenda.

All of this is a side-show for a much bigger end. This isn't about DEI, government spending, tax breaks, or "immigrants." This is all about four key things.

1) Controlling the types of people who get to replace the dwindling population and simultaneously forcing increased birth rates while also providing no resources for those who birth those children because only the strongest and those with means will succeed,

2) Acquiring resources that the USA has depleted or does not have through acquisition, bullying, and, if necessary, by force,

3) Cutting the debt with a combination of profits from the newly accessed resources and eliminating any spending that supports people who cannot support themselves (survival of the fittest) while also trying to control cryptocurrency so that the US can still retain its place as the standard of currency in the world, and

4) Setting the stage for a dictatorship/oligarchy when the USA shifts from the current state of "Federal Emergency" to Martial Law (thanks to the rebelling citizens and world) so that it can resume its place as a global power.

The biggest mistake people make is underestimating Trump. Why do people think he's been calling Zelensky a dictator and illegitimate because he had not held elections due to Martial Law? Now that his government has reaffirmed that he is the legitimate president because Martial Law is in effect and fair elections cannot occur, guess what? When the citizens of the US do finally rise in opposition to what is happening, Trump will seek to declare Martial Law. Over time, Trump will use the Zelensky affirmation as proof that it is necessary to suspend elections when the USA is under Martial Law. And then, the wannabe dictator who said, "If you vote for me this time, you won't have to vote for me again," will find ways to keep us in a perpetual state of Martial Law, surrounded by all of his hand-picked loyalists and control of the military. UNLESS SOMEONE STOPS HIM! Thank you, Midas+, for your efforts thus far. But, seriously, what's your plan? Everyone can keep focusing on the symptoms or delve into what is REALLY happening. How far is everyone willing to go?

Option 2 gets you the front desk.

Police Chief’s name is Chief White

Quote from Chief White:

“I don’t care what your message is, especially in an open town hall like this,” White said. “We have to respect everybody’s First Amendment rights, regardless of what side of the aisle you happen to sit on. I know there’s some people up here who probably disagree with me and would like us to take action and maybe try to silence a voice that’s in opposition to theirs at a town hall, but there’s very little we can do with regard to First Amendment protections. We have to make sure people have the protections afforded them under the Constitution.”

Ben, with all possible respect and admiration...I think you and Rep. Krishnamoorthi might have overlooked a couple of things here. I'll speak only on the situation with FFOTUS, but I suspect it would also apply to all or nearly all of our elected Congress Critters. Who owns FFOTUS? If he had to dress like a NASCAR driver, his uniform would be covered nearly totally by three enormous sponsor badges - Musk is one, because he virtually owns FFOTUS now after having paid so much to get him elected. Melania is probably next in line, considering her multiply re-negotiated prenup agreement. The mystery is Putin -- except for Eric Trump's admission some years ago about getting tons of money from Russia, we don't really know how much of FFOTUS is owed by Putin or how big the sponsor (owner) badge would be. Sadly, on any given day, FFOTUS can be whipped in multiple ways -- President Zelenskyy is a dictator if Putin tells Trump to say that...or he can be a dictator because Musk told him...or he can be a dictator because one of Trump's remaining brain cells just fired. And so it goes.

The truth is everyone who voted for him has been betrayed. He looks upon his adoring fans as collateral damage. In simple terms Cain killed Abel. Finger-pointing and blame are as old as the Earth. Trump is evil. He created a "them" and played into every fear a racist bigoted person believes in.
