I worked & volunteered at 501c3 animal shelters for over 20 years & am still a volunteer- we never saw any of the $$ from the HSUS. Much of the $$ goes into the pockets of the executives NOT to the animals in need. Google it. Don’t believe the ads. Please give to local shelters who are experts at making every dollar count. Local shelters are more direct, although disaster relief our local shelter recommended sending $$to the humane society when I asked about it after the hurricane devastation. I will send one to the Pasadena shelter …they are wonderful.(lived there for 25 years)
