Mitch McConnell is primary proof. I bet anyone else ready or being close to being ready to retire doesn’t give AF about the primary threats. I bet he ends up being the biggest thorn in Trump’s side for the next 2 years, in order to try to preserve his own legacy (for whatever that’s even worth now).

I think he’s going to have a harder time getting loyalty from the Senate. New members shouldn’t be scared, since they’ll be there longer than him. Any members with 4 years left are up for re-election the year he’s leaving, the year Trump has little to no power left.

Of the 1/3 of Senators either up for re-election or are new ones coming in, there’s maybe 16 or 17 Republican Senators? If enough of the Senate bands together as a bloc, they could completely thwart Trump’s ambitions and power.

I honestly don't believe Trump will be alive in 4 years because he's falling apart healthwise now. It's a double-edged sword because we have Hitler and Junior Hitler who got elected and when older Hitler dies Junior Hitler's going to step up and project 2025 was written for him not for Trump. Trump was just the stooge they knew people would vote for over Vance and now all they have to do is get Trump to go away one way or the other

Enjoying seeing trump thwarted in his destruction of democracy.

I read that if he goes back to the next session that will reopen his case and the probability of it really be released to the public increases.

I also read where his wife said goodbye to Washington DC

That the next thing on Gaetz’s agenda is Governor of Florida.

Another state I do not want to dwell in. 😀

The whole reason Matty left the Senate and he resigned from being AG is he doesn't want that report coming out ever. He knows he's a child predator/rapist he just doesn't want the entire country to know for sure. He has no business being in any public office ever again unless he wants to go to Russia.

When he resigned from Congress he resigned from this session and the next he had just won. Florida will have a special election for his seat. He could run for it. But if he puts himself in this race, there will always be someone who will ask about his allegations about being a pedofile.

I phoned my one reasonable Senator, John Cornyn, and pleaded that he could be a hero and make Texas proud by standing up to these unserious nominees. He's rumored to be retiring in two years and these last few months could well define his legacy which has so far been one of a rather milquetoast variety.

I do not believe Donald Trump intends to abide by anything normal! He will not even sign nor have his transition team sign the normal agreements that they will abide by the best interest of America and avoid conflicts of interest. Is this the BEST Donald Trump has to offer Americans? Surely he can find better cabinet nominees that will be experienced to serve their positions along with being loyal enough to attack his “perceived adversaries: anyone that disagreed with him”… this is the best Trump can do? Sad! It’s the middle finger to his own voters!

I'm curious about his continued close ties to Saudi Arabia$$$$ and his "stand back" attitude toward Syria. Is trump giving Putin time to re-establish power and influence there? Putin appeared to help Assad poison millions of his own people awhile back. Did Putin supply the poisonous gas?

Will trump even allow the increased number of deaths and rise in disease numbers to be known outside the oval? We know when covid came to America, trump told the CDC to zip it. Stopped them from warning the public.

Soc media blew up when masses of Am citizens started dropping dead or getting deathly sick. Fear spread, the desperate began demanding info, while the CDC was ordered to be silent via trump!

That’s great and all, but my main concern is that Trump will not sign the required documents pertaining to the ethics of holding the office of president. If he doesn’t sign those ethics papers I think he should be denied being sworn in and forced to resign.

Then we should be able to extend Joe Biden‘s presidency to a second term and he can resign and turn the office over to Kamala Harris and she will have her rightful spot as the president of the United States of America.

Hopium Chronicles - What's Next? How to Cut the Head Off the Snake Worldwide

🔸️FITNESS FOR DUTY EVALUATIONS that are mandatory, like the military for high responsibility positions, would have stopped Trump before he got within a mile of the White House. True for every dictator, authoritarian, and oligarch worldwide.

Bandy X Lee, Steven Hassan, and 100 other psychiatrists agree Trump has five dangerous mental pathologies as listed in the books "The More Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" and "The Psychology Of Trump Contagion - An Existential Threat to American Democracy and All Humankind".

In one fell swoop, Fitness for Duty Evaluations worldwide, stops every dictator, authoritarian, and oligarch.

"Containing Trump Contagion and Healing from Mental Pathology in Politics"

https://youtu.be/HTkCqU5LM-k?si=f6g0PolglC21w1nR

🔸️Fitness for Duty Evaluations start with everyone who interacts with the individual in question, and when red flags start to appear, 'say something.'

The US Military has procedures to follow that require individuals in question to have a Fitness for Duty Evaluation. Voters must demand the House and Senate do the same.

"Stephen Xenakis- Fitness for Duty Exams: Preventing Autocratic Abuse"

https://youtu.be/vdtChF07ryU?si=VJ5dauWFoUQg10uH

🔸️Outside the military are professionals like Dr. Bandy X. Lee who has several dozen colleagues all of whom are highly qualified to do Fitness for Duty Evaluations.

The U.S. House and Senate have several mechanisms to enforce their rules, including:

* Leadership

* Committees

* Floor Procedures

* Party Discipline

It's important to note that these mechanisms are not always used consistently or effectively. The more voters demand mentally fit leaders the more the House and Senate will comply.
