Elections and Cheeto’s Interference

Mikie Sherrill the Democratic Congresswoman and gubernatorial candidate for New Jersey is now being attacked by Cheeto’s Nazi regime by releasing her military files to the public including private information of her parent’s address, Social Security number, and other discretionary material that should never be in the public sphere

Let’s be clear If Cheeto and his Nazi allies can go after a political opponent at a governor’s level then they will go after any American citizen who is a registered voter This is the reason that DOJ is after registered voter rolls in 9 Democratic states The vigilante challenge that came out of a Georgia experiment as reported by Greg Palast disenfranchised Georgia registered voters

Keep this in mind for future elections because the Nazis are coming after your legitimate voting status

You know if that were done to any of their people all hell would break loose! But they do it to Democrats all the time and they don't seem to think there's anything wrong with it. I'm sick of the double standards and the hypocrisy!

It's because the Democratic Party has elected not to be aggressive and angry about with which they are confronted Take no prisoners This starts with an aggressive stance on the govt shutdown Party leaders should have demanded way more in concessions than just healthcare And in future elections there should be demands for SCOTUS expansion, return to a gold standard, election reform, ending Citizens United, abortion protection, end of Israeli support These may be seen by party leadership as too radical but the electorate is not looking for safe They want the Republicans to pay for what they have done to the country

It is telling that politicians have been killed. The "Right" are at war with US. Let's see what the military brass will do when he orders violations of the Constitution. Nothing has stopped him from trying to break every law. Maybe he will meet his Waterloo. In every way.

You are so right. I applaud your decision to run for the US Senate. We need younger people to lead us now. Authenticity, truth telling - so essential right now (always) in the Senate‼️

Nice piece, Senator McMorrow. Could I voice a small concern? You wrote, quoting one of the union apprentices, "This whole system is corrupt,” one told me. “They’re all rich. They’re all 80 years old. How could they possibly know what we’re going through?”

Senator, absolutist thinking should be discouraged...even if it has an element of truth...because it is on the path of us versus them -- in other words, othering.

I'm on my 79th orbit around the sun. Don't know how to define rich, but I am comfortable. I contribute significant amounts to charities whose work I find meaningful. And I grew up near Schaeffer and 7 Mile Road in the 1950s.

Please encourage these young people to "make a difference" but also endeavor to teach them about the power of words.

Thanks.

Me, too, but I don't see too many younger people at protests, joining local Dem organizations, doing stuff like voter registration, election judging, or running for office. I try every time I meet someone younger to engage them, find out their issues, and give support where I can. There are some old guys who get it.

Wonderful article. You have hit the nail on the head. I am too old to do much campaigning, but I stand up and cheer for this younger crop of candidates. We desperately need your energy, your ideas, and your willingness to work for your fellow Americans.

Couldn't have said it better myself - lets add on to this that we don't make backroom deals - we don't settle - we demand our rights - we demand our money, taken by the billionaires, be given back to us in CASH PAYMENTS, in tax reductions, in better schools, in free healthcare, and tax, the billionaires – stop the bullshit of allowing them to have every advantage with every tax break in the books. Simplify the tax code and make everybody pay their fair share.

We need younger and fresher blood in the Senate and in the house! What I'd love to see for the young blood change would be term limits so that no you cannot nor can these old timers stay in office forever until they turn into a dinosaur. Term limits would best serve this country! That goes for the Supreme Court as well. Any publicly held office should have term limits!

Build something better! Newly elected or Democratic candidates while campaigning need to talk straight about the party corruption, of course it’s all the parties corruption. Election reform too. IMHO the elections should have public financing. Do you Mallory spend most of your time fundraising? And all parties need to allow one primary including all candidates running and ranked choice voting. End gerrymandering. If the trend is authentic people wanting to be public servants vs. get rich I would be ecstatic!

Mallory, I am all about building something different. I'm concerned about the toxicity of both mainstream parties brands. I'm in solid blue territory, and to move stewardship as a democratic candidate would mean primaries against the establishment incumbents. That is not to speak of losing my job to run for a position due to policy prohibitions. I want to know more about how working class and public servant candidates who don't follow the democrats' corporate politics and who are living the American paycheck to paycheck life can break through to a viability to run. We need good stewards in every position at every level of governace across our country to recover from the politics of the last 20 years, and moreover the last 10 months.
