With all the headlines about Donald Trump’s dark past finally catching up to him, it’s time we shine a light on those who’ve helped him bury the truth for years — like MAGA’s Judiciary Committee Chair, Jim Jordan. On Friday, Jordan was finally deposed in connection to the massive sex abuse cover-up at Ohio State University, where he served as an assistant wrestling coach while hundreds of athletes were being sexually assaulted by Dr. Richard Strauss.
Jordan has spent years gaslighting the public — denying, deflecting, and ducking accountability. But the survivors haven’t forgotten. And neither have we.
On the MeidasTouch Network, I sat down with Michael DiSabato, the first whistleblower who came forward about Strauss. Michael shared never-before-seen emails to Jim Jordan. One message was crystal clear: “You have direct knowledge and experience with Strauss… and what is the largest systemic sexual abuse cover-up in modern sports history.” That email? Sent in 2018. Jordan ignored it — and the survivors.
Let that sink in. Per DiSabato, Jim Jordan knew. He was in the showers. He trained with the team. He joked about the genital exams in the locker room. And when Michael told him he was coming forward, Jordan’s only concern was “Just don’t get me involved.” Not “How can I help?” Not “I’m so sorry.” Just cover his own ass.
Even worse, Jordan then mobilized a PR smear campaign against survivors — including Michael and his own brother Adam, who testified under oath that Jordan called him crying, begging him not to come forward.
This is cowardice. And it’s complicity.
I urge every single person reading this to watch the HBO documentary Surviving Ohio State. It’s not easy. It’s not comfortable. But it’s necessary. Because as Michael said to me, “Sexual abuse is the oldest crime in the book — and it’s still happening in plain sight.”
And to those who ask, “Why talk about this now?” — Because the people who protect predators should never hold power. Because when men like Trump and Jordan call these stories a “hoax,” they aren’t just lying — they’re enabling future abuse.
This fight isn’t over. But the truth is catching up to them. And we won’t stop.
Let’s keep shining that light. Let’s get justice.
