Oklahoma has received billions from Bidens Build Back Better and American Rescue Plan to improve their lives. All they can expect from the orange wannabe dictator is that he will now take the credit. DONT LET HIM!!!

We wouldn’t be talking about this if Merrick Garland had done his job.

Garland was complicit. He never had any intention of going after Trump and his enablers.

Merrick Garland is a stain on Biden’s legacy.

Biden could have fired him but didn't. I think Biden never wanted to prosecute Trump and knew damn well that Garland wouldn't do a damn thing. I have come to loathe Biden for appointing Garland in the first place instead of a bulldog of an AG with a spine and a commitment to the rule of law.

Yes indeed, but Biden was too stupid to appoint her. As you can tell, I've had more than enough of "wonderful Joe Biden". No real support from him for voting tights or reproductive rights, and I have never for given him for the part he played in putting Boy Clarence on the Supreme Court. His little meet and greet with Trump last week was the final straw.

Definitely a mixed legacy because of that.

If Biden had wanted to prosecute Trump it would have happened with or without Merrick Garland.

I was appalled that Garland was appointed, especially when I heard that he was a Republican with ties to the Federalist Society. That's when I knew he would not do anything to bring Trump and his enablers to justice and that Biden was well aware of that. A plague on both their houses.

Only the super successful and highly-educated people that I know have something to gain from a Trump administration. The rest of them will be crushed by his policies! Some will realize that it's due to Trump, and others will be caught in the "authoritarian loop" as you so eloquently laid out in this article Ben. It's truly a piece of stellar journalism.

Terrific article, Ben! You make good sense for those of us who are fatigued and trying to make sense of this election. Everything is tired-our bodies and our brains!

Please call your representative and demand that they vote no on HR 9495, coming to the floor again as soon as tomorrow. Fifty-two Democrats voted in favor last week, including such civil liberties stalwarts as Adam Schiff, Jared Moskowitz, Elissa Slotkin, and Frank Pallone. The bill is dreadful - look it up. It is a throwback to the Attorney General's List of the 1950s and would give Trump the power to shut down any nonprofit he hates by using the excuse of "supporting terrorism". Please do what you can to stop this fascist nightmare from becoming law.

Somehow we need to right the wrong where the last administration and party dropped the ball. They did little to fight the 4 year disinformation campaign of Trump and the right wing Russian Propaganda catch n kill Machine. We are left with a big hill to climb but there is NO choice. We fight to the end... How bout it Dems in DC?

“We will either be forever defined as a Trump idiocracy...” I am going to steal that phrase and use it on repeat. The rest of the sentence was excellent, but Trump and idiocracy are perfect. Thanks, Ben.
