hmmm....why would he need to prosecute someone over a hoax? kinda like he's admitting off the bat that it's gonna be phony charges..😂

Adriana Hernandez's avatar

He should be investigated first because he’s in a position he shouldn’t be, the others can be investigated later. He’s the one that ran on releasing those files.

Skitealwedrop's avatar

and it appears he was more involved with Epstein than we originally thought. Why was he, the orange conman, spending so much time with Virginia G. at Epstein’s house as per the email released yesterday?

Rob Jonas's avatar

I knew all along t/rump was neck deep in the Epstein scandal. Having seen for myself the depravity of t/rump, I am not surprised at anything regarding the heinous nature of t/rump. I have been saying since t/rump first rode down the escalator to announce his run for the presidency, he was going to be bad for the country. Sadly, way too many people in the United States ignored all the warning signs and voted for him. Now they are reaping what they sowed.

Skitealwedrop's avatar

I became convinced yesterday after the emails between Epstein and Maxwell were released that the orange conman is a pedophile. I just needed to read it from two other pedophiles. The conman can no longer lie his way out of this one.

VERONICA ROACH's avatar

Well they all seem to like 15yr old girls - so if the age limit for pedophilia is 16yrs - they are PEDOS !!! No other way to say it !

Watching t/rump over the years and the sheer disgust I had for him, that escalator ride caused me to switch to Independent after decades as a Republican. Who knew how he would eventually destroy the Republican party.

making it even weirder that she "committed suicide", just like Epstein....

Apparently she was sexually abused as a young girl so she was sexually assaulted for much of her life. Her husband was also a bad guy. She had a difficult life from what I understand.

Linda's avatar

It looks really suspicious…

Frances Lynch's avatar

Recall that Virginia, the person Trump had the lengthy discussion with, said Trump was never involved to her knowledge. According to her she told Trump in that conversation everything that had been done to her.

I suspect Trump took that information to the investigators both in Florida and NY. The end of this investigation may be the world discovers Epstein was a Mossad agent exposing the Mossad control of the US and other world govts, and Trump was the US star witness who sent him to jail.

By blocking the release of the Epstein files, President Donald Trump is leading a desperate effort to keep secret the facts of his involvement with convicted sexual predators Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Mike Johnson has proclaimed “calling the President of the United States a pedophile is highly disrespectful and offensive.”

Donald Trump has been found liable for sexual assault by multiple courts. He has been credibly accused of raping children. It is neither disrespectful nor offensive to challenge corrupt practices of any elected official.

Failure to demand the release of the Epstein files identifies those Republicans who are willing to protect pedophiles rather than their victims—i.e. the devious Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson.

MM Harris's avatar

Even Mary Trump says that he'll take all of us down with him. This is very serious.

Merry's avatar

Karma, I wholeheartedly agree. Trump is in defcon 1 panic mode right now because he knows full well that’s he’s implicated in the Epstein documents, because he’s GUILTY! And he HATES losing control of the news cycle. So his fear and panic makes him exceedingly dangerous right now.

He’s trying to spin this as a democratic hoax but it’s not working because most people don’t believe him. And he’s created a paradoxical narrative. If he’s not involved or guilty, then why wouldn’t he just order ALL files to be immediately released? But instead, he’s ordered the (his) DOJ to investigate democrats -

“In his Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him. This is another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats. Records show that these men, and many others, spent large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his ‘Island.'”

On top of the Epstein scandal, he’s created economic mayhem and other messes all over the world that he’s abandoned now because he realizes that the Epstein scandal isn’t going away. A few days ago the UK stated that it will no longer share sensitive intelligence with the United States.

So my biggest concern right now is, that Trump, as a narcissistic sociopath who’s in collapse mode, may suddenly start a catastrophic military conflict with another country simply to change the narrative and regain control of the news cycle. Yes, this is likely to get much worse. Suddenly. Without warning.

Google: AI Overview

Narcissistic collapse is a profound state of mental distress that occurs when a narcissist's inflated sense of self is shattered by failure, humiliation, or a significant blow to their self-esteem. It's a breakdown of their carefully constructed "false self" where they can no longer sustain the pretense of superiority. This can lead to a range of reactions, from withdrawal and depression to intense anger, aggression, and self-harm.

Maybe harm to this country or the world.

rainwoman's avatar

Withdrawal would be wonderful, but unlikely. Add his dementia and significant other mental health issues to the mix and he's one sick SOB. Maybe his physical ills will take him out first if we're lucky.

Frances Lynch's avatar

They never found anything wrong with his taxes. They said he had misrepresented assets in applying for a bank loan, but that wasn't anything to do with taxes.

Jayme Kendrick's avatar

To misrepresent a bank for a loan you would have to misrepresented yourself in your taxes. All personal and business taxes are required to be reviewed for loans from a bank for business and real estate. A minimum of two years. 🙄

Maryooch's avatar

I get a case of the willies when I have to go into a bank for anything - you hope against hope that you have all your ducks in a row to get a lousy $30K car loan. Imagine the audacity to go in and lie, lie, lie - and come out of the bank millions of dollars richer.

Maybe we've been doing it wrong, folks... .

Frances Lynch's avatar

If you followed the lawsuit, he clearly stated on the docs he provided that the estimates of the properties values were his companies valuations and that the banks involved should do their due diligence.

Yes, he would have provided financial records on each of the properties to support their values, that doesn't mean he cheated on his taxes. The estimates were for current and future value of specific pieces of real estate, not the same as a tax valuation.

All of the banks involved said they had no problem with the info he presented, that they did their own due diigence, that they were paid in full and on time and would do business with him again. So where is the victim, where is the crime?

Jayme Kendrick's avatar

Eventually you'll loose your rose colored glasses, or you won't, because maybe you have the same qualities of most white republican men. Racist and like them young? I mean you're trying to convince me E Jean Carroll said she enjoyed being SA'd.

Frances Lynch's avatar

You are wrong. I do not support him.

His support of Israel's genocide, his bombing of Iran, of Yemen, his failure to bring troop home, his trillion dollar war defense budget, his failure to investigate anyone, his failure to release multiple documents, his shutting down of DOGE, my list is long with reasons why I do not support him.

His personal behavior has been disappointing, it has also been addressed in multiple lawsuits. Some he won, some he didn't. As for Carroll I am aware she has accused multiple men of trying to rape her. Trump is just one more.

Jayme Kendrick's avatar

He also said E Jean Carol liked being graped. That's on video in an interview as well.

Frances Lynch's avatar

He was repeating what she had said in a number of her posts and also in an interview.

Jayme Kendrick's avatar

Idk where you are getting your information from, but no one wpuld say they enjoyed being sexually assaulted.

In the 2019 interview, Carroll told Cooper that she did not like to use the word rape because it "carries so many sexual connotations" and that "most people think of rape as being sexy" and "think of the fantasies."

Trump Claimed E. Jean Carroll Said 'Rape Was Sexy' in Unsealed Deposition - Business Insider https://share.google/9OJMrV6TPxhWVO5OC

Barb O's avatar

If they had misrepresented her she would have sued them. She had a lawyer funded by a fellow with deep pockets.

Tina's avatar
Nov 15Edited

Frances Lynch, take a break, you need one if you believe anything Breibart post or says. Trump was found QUILTY, case closed.

Jayme Kendrick's avatar

She stated she enjoyed it?!

Jayme Kendrick's avatar

You may want to rethink your position or even use chatgpt to review all social media posts, articles and the Court transcripts. The fact you believe she enjoyed it is sick and it frankly makes me question your own morals.

Trump’s deposition remarks mis-represent Carroll’s words: he claimed she said “rape was sexy” and "she loved being sexually assaulted", attributing that statement to her.

The phrase that Carroll used “I think most people think of rape as being sexy” was a commentary on cultural perception, not on her own experience. When stripped of context and attributed to her as a statement of personal feeling, it becomes misleading.

The article does not prove that Carroll said she enjoyed being sexually assaulted.

You cannot reasonably infer from the record that she said that. Her actual statement was about what other people/culture think about rape, not about her own feelings of enjoyment.

The claim that she “said she loved it” or “said it was very sexy” comes from Trump’s mis-characterization of her words in deposition, not a direct statement from Carroll herself.

Linda's avatar

This is typical of the very rich to blame the victim…Trump has gotten away with a lot because of his wealth and now he’s ruining our country…

Frances Lynch's avatar

Yes, Trump is an oaf, he is very much a man of his time and NY real estate developers are very, very rough people.

However, JJ Carroll was not the most believable of people, had accused multiple men of assault in the past and could provide no evidence in support of an actual attack,

Frances Lynch's avatar

That was his interpretation of her remarks based on what she had said in posts and interviews, in depositions. I can see how he reached that assumption. You don't.

And he was not found guilty of sexual assault, he was found in a civil suit, which is not criminal, that he had battered her by verbally disparaging her.

https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-was-donald-trump-found-guilty-rape-1799935

Jayme Kendrick's avatar

It wasn't a criminal conviction but he was convicted civilly for sexually abusing her.

Beginning of the article: "On Tuesday, May 12, 2023, the Manhattan jury of nine men and three women found the former president liable for SEXUALLY ABUSING and defaming Carroll and awarded Carroll $5 million in damages.

While E. Jean Carroll's lawsuit was a civil trial, the fact that the jury was asked to consider the evidence as to whether Trump raped, sexually abused or forcibly touched her might have led some to believe the matter was criminal or otherwise intimated criminal guilt."

Linda's avatar

There is No Excuse for Trump’s past behavior…She won her lawsuit and that makes him found guilty…Too many women came forward before but as usual money gets him a pass and so do people who believe he’s innocent…Laughable since his name has been mentioned 1500 times in Epstein files…

Will Trump start a war to distract from the Epstein files? Today's Edition Newsletter Robert B. Hubbell (Substack) November 14, 2025 https://roberthubbell.substack.com/p/will-trump-start-a-war-to-distract

"How worried is Trump about the potential release of the Epstein files? It sure seems like Trump is planning to start a war with Venezuela to distract attention from the release of the Epstein files. On Thursday, as Trump and JD Vance maintained a stony silence about the Epstein scandal, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth spent the day posting on social media about “Operation Southern Spear,” a euphemism for land strikes against drug cartels in Venezuela. Although Operation Southern Spear has been in the works since January 2025, Hegseth and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs briefed Trump on Wednesday about military options for attacking Venezuela."

Rob Jonas's avatar

A war with Venezuela, could be a war with Russia involved. Russia has been backing up Venezuela regarding the defense of this country. All this being said, NOTHING will distract from the Epstein affair. Regarding t/rump, he may actually face blow back from within the Rethug party. The Rethugs are well aware of the terrible polling data on t/rump. If a lot of the Rethugs think t/rump will damage their chances to keep power, they will desert him like rats leaving a sinking ship.
