I’m an 87 year old English American. I came from a great country- America’s parent country. I’m devastated to watch how one man can take down what has been one of the greatest most successful country in history. I’m reading a book that takes place in the year of my birth 1938 in Czechoslovakia and Austria. It documents the rise of the Nazi form of government. What happened in 1938 in Germany is being repeated now in 2025 in America. If you’re not worried and frightened you should be.

They did rule against him in the case where that young man was sent to El Salvador. It was a unanimous ruling that they said he should be returned and the administration should facilitate his immediate return, which the While House is ignoring. They should all be charged with contempt! Not just charged but jailed until they comply!
Because they are all in the same boat. They are just concerned about lining their own pockets. This is not what we voted for. I sincerely hope that we see some major changes come the midterms. That is when we will turn things around. I’m so looking forward to it. So there is still a glimmer of hope.
Yes, and it is time for the Democratic Party to CONSTRUCT a plan for fixing our government so that it works for the working class Americans. They can’t run on platitudes. Unfortunately, there are a large group of older people, Boomers (my generation), who have always been Republicans and think that they have to stay with their Party because they must think it is the same as it used to be. Here's my problem: we know the goals of project 2025 month in advance but let them get the first month(s) hits in before we we re in public and the courts. We have to play an aggressive legal game with these people who have no idea of what makes America great. They have no clue about our Constitution and what it stands for and how many millions died protecting it. Impeachmentvwithout votes doesn't work been there fails with that approach. Contestveverything they do publicly and in Court. Talk to rational Republicans into demanding town hall meetings and if those zombie cultists don't show plug our people in to answer their questions.

And, we must Show up, Stand up, Fight and so on I'm disillusioned perhaps but it sounds like cheerleading to me. I personally believe we need a specific plan. We need three ingredients to end this comedy of errors.
This is one group that is working to establish a specific plan for what comes after.
These efforts needs to coalesce into a single powerful message backed up by an in depth plan of action. We need to tell our elected officials exactly what we require of them for them to stay in office and tell new candidates exactly how to earn our vote.
2. We need to learn how to protect ourselves from planted violence during increasingly large demonstrations.
We need to completely understand and accept that the process being used against us is to blame us for what they are actually doing. It is not hidden it is simply turned backwards. They telegraph their plans daily. This means that the violence that will come with larger demonstrations will be organized and perpetrated by them through planting operatives in our midst to incite and carry out violence which will then be blamed on the legit protestors and be used as an excuse to put down the demonstration and limit further demonstrations. We need to understand this as a fact not a possibility so that we can prepare for it. It may not be that hard. These planted disruptors will not blend in well. They will be easily profiled. They will be white males with abrasive attitude. They will travel in small groups and will likely be vocal but not in synch with the legit protestors around them. They will be actively waiting for a signal. Do not allow them to infiltrate your group. Create a safe zone of space around each of these suspected counter protestors. When you see this zoning happening support it. You do not have to be sure to start the zone. The counter protestors will get vocal and obvious once the zoning gets going. Remember these are not rocket scientists. They are the same people who invaded the capital on Nov 6th. You do not have to engage in the violence they plan but you do have to maintain significant distance 15 to 20 feet. They are likely carrying weapons but not likely guns.
3. We need to threaten our current leaders with something credible. From what I can tell a MAGA leaning ‘Republican in name’ hasn’t won an election for a while now and yet this hasn’t changed the behavior of our representatives. Approval ratings have been dropping consistently for months and this hasn’t changed behavior. Musk has been targeted and largely exposed for the ulterior motive of stealing our government data for use in his AI and his car company has been hamstrung but it hasn’t really had an effect on him or our representatives. So, we need some ideas here. If we wait and hope to vote them out we are likely to fall victim to to their plans to disrupt those elections. Unfortunately, this is like a plot out of a movie where the good guys stick to the high ground and the villains use every low trick available. We have the bully in our face saying “Wha cha gonna do? Huh, Wha cha gonna do?” This is the point where, in the movie, some hero steps up and smacks him. I don’t think we can really depend on that. But it is the right question.
While Trump's cabinet is made up of conspiracists and sycophants, Democratic leadership in the Senate is finally taking a stand against their actions. I look at RFK Jr. and Kristi Noem's hearings, and commend those holding them accountable. (Continued)
