Walking east from theater district on Tuesday evening around 9pm, my husband and I saw many knock off handbags scattered on the street. After a bit, we saw the guys, who looked quite shaken, returning to quickly gather all their bags. They had been spooked by what may have looked like an ICE van and probably knew what had taken place on Canal Street. These African men have been part of NYC culture for decades now. They aren't bothering anyone. What a disgraceful nation we have become.
I have bought nice scarves and pashmina wraps from them. They were always around the city. Even on Fifth Avenue right in front of the luxury stores. No one ever bothered them.
Hopefully the universe will bless humanity when a certain Orange child rapist has an unfortunate unexplained golfing accident......long before the Ice Barbie celebration
