A lot of lower courts are enforcing the constitution. The Supreme Court shadow docket rulings are temporary. As cases are fully litigated, the constitution does win. We have some important races coming up in a few weeks in NY & NJ that will send a strong message. You will see even more cracks in the maga front. It’s already happening. I agree with your assessment, but I'm unsure how we get there. Millions of people in the streets protesting will be ignored. Violence in the streets while protesting will be met with the deployment of the military against us. The courts may hold on some actions on voter suppression but, the SCOTUS seems to be carrying the flag for Trump. Their ruling on Article 2 of the Voting Rights Act may be a good sign of where they plan to take this country. The lower courts seem to be holding but, as the SCOTUS overrules Federal Appeals Courts. We have a serious situation. A free and fair election is in jeopardy, which was by design, for this administration all along. So that leaves us with the people and the sacrifice for which they will endure. Armed resistance. Urban warfare. Many, many lives sacrificed. Blood spilled in the streets. Intolerable violence. I hope that you are right but we have to look beyond Trump and look at Project 2025 and it's authors. They are doing things that can't easily be undone. Some of these appointments are lifetime like SCOTUS. I believe and hope that the enablers have ruined their reputations to the point that they never work in public jobs again. And there are a lot of oligarchs working behind the scenes against us. They are buying power and filling their war chests.

A democratic president w/ congressional approval could appoint 6 more justices & all of a sudden the maga 6 are in the 9-6 minority. The maga 6 Supreme Court can only rule on existing law. A democratic majority congress could clean up bad legislation, pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, strengthened the 10th, 13th, &14th amendments, clarify presidential powers, strengthen the emoluments & enrichment laws, & reverse all of the bad rulings.
Don’t forget, there will be prosecutions & impeachments when we have a majority in the house & senate. I am sure the new legislators will understand that there must be punishment and consequences for crimes.
