Don’t know if you’ve ever had her on your show but my rep Melanie Stansbury is amazing. More people in the country need to know who she is. She’s tough, determined and a fighter. NM is a big state with only 3 districts; she’s been everywhere during this recess having standing room only town halls.
She is excellent and I like her very much. But I’ll never forget that after she went on IVE HAD IT/I HIP NEWS, they later said that Stansbury’s “handler” was pissed that they were asking too many questions.
Come on Democrats in congress. Fight or resign and get someone else to take your place who will fight. We need people like Sanders, AOC, Frost, Newsom.
Do your job and start fighting for your constituents.
Agree 100%. There are some really weak Democrats who make no noise, have no big ideas and are simply in the way. Schiff, Jeffries, Schumer, Pelosi come to mind. Adam Schiff at yesterday's Newsom event was ineffective. He did an excellent job at the January 6 hearings. He is just not suited for this moment. Hakeem Jeffries needs to get much, much stronger or yield to a stronger voice. As Newsome said yesterday stop holding press conferences. This means you Hakeem. Do Something. Thank God for Newsom and the Illinois Governor Pritzker.

The logical thing to do, from my perspective, would have been to toss the existing house rules to elect a new leader of the party the moment they lost in November.
That person should have been required to immediately start messaging, in effective terms on a day by day basis, what’s happening with the economy, directing the continuation of shadow government inquiries into this regime and never stop mentioning that America voted for a rapist, criminal, insurrectionist and, now very apparent likely paedophile.
