I Hope You Don’t Mind…
By Ben Meiselas
It’s Ben Meiselas, co-founder of the MeidasTouch Network. I didn’t know what else to call this Substack post today, so I went with what was on my mind when I woke up. I am calling this “I Hope You Don’t Mind.”
Before getting into it, I want to thank our subscribers. Please subscribe now if you aren’t already a subscriber. It’s the most impactful way you can help the MeidasTouch Network since we’ve grown with zero investors.
I called this post “I Hope You Don’t Mind” because I’m spending some time with my family over the next few days. I wanted to take my 10-month-old to the beach with my wife. I’m still going to make videos for the YouTube channel, but the lighting and setup might not be as polished as you’re used to. I just wanted to refuel a bit before September starts and Congress is back in session.
The great news is that our network has dozens of incredible hosts who can help fill in if I’m unable to do a video here and there—including my brothers. I hope you don’t mind.
Before I take a walk with my daughter, I just wanted to reflect on a few things. Last night, at the swearing-in of Congressman Garcia as ranking member of the Intelligence Committee by former VP Kamala Harris, the MeidasTouch Network got an incredible shout-out from Congressman Garcia. In front of a packed crowd he said: “If you guys don’t know MeidasTouch—thanks for all that they do. And I’m really grateful to them for continuing to particularly cover things that sometimes the mainstream media may not cover.”
On the latest YouTube podcast charts, the MeidasTouch Network beat Joe Rogan again. Rogan is funded with hundreds of millions of dollars, whereas Meidas has grown with subscribers on this Substack. Meidas came in second place to the podcast hosted by NFL greats Travis and Jason Kelce—since Taylor Swift was their guest this week. I’m happy to come in second place to Taylor Swift.
I’m going to cut this post short to take my daughter to the beach and watch the sunrise together. Please subscribe today to this Substack. We need your help more than ever, and your subscription to this Substack has been the biggest game changer in the growth you’ve seen from the MeidasTouch Network.

Mind?! I’ve been thinking you needed a break for a long time. It’s all day everyday you’ve been working. Back pain and a root canal were the only reasons you took off. Please enjoy your time with your daughter and rest. And please let Jordy back on tonight’s show! We missed him on Monday.
How could we mind, Ben? It’s what you say that counts, not where you say it. Enjoy the sun while you’re out splashing with Ximena.
