Homegrown criminals.
On Monday, President Donald Trump doubled down on his eyebrow-raising idea to outsource American justice, telling El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele that he’d like to start shipping “homegrown criminals” to El Salvador—essentially suggesting the U.S. start using foreign prisons like FedEx drop-off points, according to a video posted by Bukele’s office. This is fine, if the first person sent is Donald Trump.
