What about basic American values that your parents taught you? I have a very good friend who voted for Trump in 2016. I had talked to her about him being a bad choice; but, she just could not stomach Hillary. She saw Trump as the lesser of two evils.
For several reasons, not related to politics we were not able to visit very often and then Covid really put a damper on things. Her son and DIL were Trump fans and didn't believe in masks, being careful health wise, etc. She then moved out of state to be closer to her family that had already moved.
About a year or so ago she came back and she stayed with me for about 2 weeks. We did a lot of "catching up" and she had nothing good to say about Trump. Her son and DIL were still Trump fans and she was constantly trying to tell them and other family members that he was "NO GOOD". She told me that it seemed to be working, she has seen some cracks in the façade that they have believed in.
I did not tell her "I told you so". She already knew and I could see no point in rubbing it in. The people whose illusions about Trump have been busted need someplace to go. I think they may well be hesitant, even if they have changed their minds, to break with their friends and family. I suspect that there are many silent objectors to Trump and I would hope that they can find a place with us.
According to TMZ (which I don't read, but I stumbled upon this), Rudy was spotted buying hair dye in a Walmart in Secaucus, NJ, a couple of days ago. I'm still chuckling about that one.

We can look to the self-ruination of Shoepolish Rudy and Mr. Pillow Mike. Look at where they are and where they are not right now. Look, too, at how Trump no longer mentions either of them. That is the same fate that awaits any of his loyalists who stumble and fall into the hands of the Law.
I have a very good friend who voted for Trump in 2016. I had talked to her about him being a bad choice; but, she just could not stomach Hillary. She saw Trump as the lesser of two evils.
For several reasons, not related to politics we were not able to visit very often and then Covid really put a damper on things. Her son and DIL were Trump fans and didn't believe in masks, being careful health wise, etc. She then moved out of state to be closer to her family that had already moved.
About a year or so ago she came back and she stayed with me for about 2 weeks. We did a lot of "catching up" and she had nothing good to say about Trump. Her son and DIL were still Trump fans and she was constantly trying to tell them and other family members that he was "NO GOOD". She told me that it seemed to be working, she has seen some cracks in the façade that they have believed in.
I did not tell her "I told you so". She already knew and I could see no point in rubbing it in. The people whose illusions about Trump have been busted need someplace to go. I think they may well be hesitant, even if they have changed their minds, to break with their friends and family. I suspect that there are many silent objectors to Trump and I would hope that they can find a place with us.

Where is Rudy?
According to TMZ (which I don't read, but I stumbled upon this), Rudy was spotted buying hair dye in a Walmart in Secaucus, NJ, a couple of days ago. I'm still chuckling about that one.
I do not agree that his inner circle is becoming less assured of his imperialistic ideas. He is their puppet. The inner circle is running the show, using Project 2025 as the playbook. When they are tired of Trump, and he no longer serves their purpose, they will use the 25th Amendment to kick him to the curb.
Do you think they are more assured by the presence of Musk? The inner circle is at the mercy of Musk. That works for Frumpy Frump because he always blames others when TSHTF. No, the inner circle isn’t running anything. They are marching in time to the authority Frumpy gave Musk.
As or the 25th Amendment? MAGATS will do all they can not to let that see the light of day. Trump is chaotic. Everything he does causes confusion and dissension within his cadre of admirers. Jockeying for his attention started before the election. It continues to this hour. And, he can’t get rid of Musk who has paid for his “services.” Ditto for Putrid.
