Today is a big day. Congress will vote to release the Epstein files. MeidasTouch is live-streaming the full press conference from the Epstein survivors this morning. Trump will be hosting the Saudi Crown Prince at the White House as he continues to enrich himself at the expense of the American people. The resistance against Trump grows stronger each day.

This may sound obvious, but don’t be fooled by Trump pretending to support the House vote on the release of the Epstein files today. Trump is a master con artist, and it’s just a tactic he is using since he knows he will lose the vote and doesn’t want to be seen as a loser. He will move on to the next tactic to avoid releasing the Epstein files. Here’s what will happen.

Trump and MAGA Mike won’t want the Senate to pass a clean companion bill for the release of the Epstein files, so they will try to put poison pills in the Senate bill to stall, delay, and kill the release of the files. They will try to add language to a Senate bill that will not be consistent with the House language. Trump will hope the Senate can kill the release of the files. Trump has backup plans if the Senate can’t stop the release.

Trump’s next move will be to have Attorney General Pam Bondi cite the “ongoing investigation into Democrats” as a reason for not turning over the files. Bondi will say the DOJ has turned over to Congress all the documents they are “legally entitled to have.” Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel will avoid taking questions in Congressional hearings about the Epstein files by citing the ongoing investigation.

If all of the above fails, I believe the DOJ will simply cherry-pick documents to release and will lie and claim the full documents are turned over when that will not be the case. The public will be able to see the gaps in the DOJ production, and the cover-up will continue.

Yesterday, Trump continued to call the Epstein sex-trafficking ring a “hoax” and said that he had no relationship “at all” with Epstein, which we all know to be a blatant lie. Trump is a criminal, and thus he will continue down a path of fraud and deceit.

This is why our job at the MeidasTouch Network is more important than ever: to hold Trump and his regime of crooks accountable. We will continue to amplify the messages of the survivors. We will continue our investigative work and continue to break stories into Trump’s connections with Epstein. We will be relentless in ensuring the files are made public.

I’ve said before, and let me say it again, that the future is not something that should just happen to us, but something for us to manifest. We must continue to rebuild the news media to become aligned with the people and to promote democracy again. We must ensure that the movement resisting the Trump regime continues to grow stronger as the Trump regime grows weaker. We must continue to inspire and use our platform to uplift other independent media. I believe when history is written about this era and the downfall of Trump, the role of independent media will be one of the main factors. This is a testament to your strength and your resilience.

I remember a year ago at this time how low the morale was. How things may have seemed hopeless heading into Thanksgiving following the November 2024 election. Well, now we have the momentum. The energy and passion are on our side. Most importantly, the people are on our side. Let’s not for a moment get complacent, and let’s continue to build each and every day together.
