The momentum the pro-democracy movement has right now is incredible. Tuesday was proof that we can take on the right-wing oligarchs and their disinformation propaganda machines—and we can win the information war. From the perspective of the MeidasTouch Network, Rupert Murdoch and his propaganda machine at Fox have been relentlessly trying to discredit us and destroy us. They ran another segment featuring my interview with former Attorney General Eric Holder yesterday on their various shows. They’ve attacked and threatened our reporters for covering ICE and for our reporting on the regime.

The fact that MeidasTouch continues to beat Fox in digital ratings, I believe, is a major reason why people in this country are now finally getting accurate news again. I am proud that MeidasTouch has also inspired an entire ecosystem of independent news and journalists to rise up and replace the corrosive and destructive corporate news establishment. We’ve literally created an entirely new delivery method and mode of news that is rooted in the power of the people.

I view this week’s big wins as proof of concept of the importance of ensuring accurate facts and data reach the people—but it’s just the beginning. We continue to lead Fox in digital views. Not only do we lead Fox, but we also lead every YouTube channel in every category—whether it’s the NBA, college football, or entertainment—the MeidasTouch Network continues to be the most viewed network on YouTube in the United States.

Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan wanted us gone. They now sit behind us in views. This isn’t the Murdochs versus the Meiselas brothers, as Rupert seems to believe it is. It’s the Murdochs versus the Meidas Mighty community—and Rupert has underestimated your strength at his own peril.

Let us send a powerful message to the Murdochs, to Trump, and to everyone in that despicable regime: now is the time to double down on our efforts as a network and keep expanding. We need to bring on more hosts. We need to bring on more editors. We need more on-the-ground reporters. We need to continue our expansion internationally, now that Meidas Canada has been a major success.
