Donald Trump is in the United Kingdom. Other than his infatuation with the Royal Family, and perhaps whatever arrangement he has worked out with Melania, I am not sure why he is there. The people in the UK don’t want him there. We’ve covered the protests against Trump in Windsor and the projections of Trump and Epstein on Windsor Castle.

According to YouGov/Economist, Trump’s approval is now officially the lowest in modern presidential history at this time, as it’s now lower than his low approval during his first term. People are fed up with his crap. Every economic indicator that impacts most Americans shows serious problems. The housing market is now the least affordable and accessible ever. Those seeking jobs significantly exceed available jobs. Jobless claims are surging. Inflation is surging. Healthcare costs are surging. We are on the brink of another possible government shutdown. The dollar is crashing. I can go on, but you get the point.

Americans are not buying Donald Trump’s fraud when he says we are in a golden age. Donald Trump has been flaunting how our taxpayer dollars are going to fund the lavish lifestyles of his rich friends. Trump destroyed the Rose Garden and turned it into a “private club” for rich people called “Club Rose Garden,” where they dine on gourmet meals with entertainment paid for by taxpayers. Trump is building a massive gold ballroom on the White House property and isn’t explaining where the funds are actually coming from. Trump’s family is making billions from crypto in deals that appear linked with access to Trump in the Oval Office.

It may be a Golden Age for the Trump family, but Americans have been given coal in their stockings in return for putting this felon back in power.

The recent actions from the regime show desperation.

This week Attorney General Pam Bondi said she will go after speech that Trump deems critical of him and that the DOJ will label it hate speech. Before he left for the UK, Trump responded to ABC reporter Jon Karl that the type of speech that will be prosecuted are questions like the ones Karl asks him. Donald Trump also responded to an Australian reporter who asked him about conflicts of interest involving Trump businesses profiting off the White House by telling the reporter that he had harmed the United States’ relations with Australia for asking such a question.

It’s odd and dangerous being an American now. Every day, Trump humiliates our country. A month ago he had our military get on their knees and roll out the red carpet for Putin. Yesterday, his FBI Director Kash Patel claimed that Jeffrey Epstein did not traffic girls or women with anyone and that Epstein did it all by himself. His Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem personally joined an unlawful ICE raid of an American citizen’s home in Illinois, and then she posted a photo of the citizen they kidnapped without mentioning that the man was released shortly thereafter because of the unlawful arrest. I can go on, but you get the point.

Within all this chaos there is still hope. I participated in an interview with Governor Newsom about his Proposition 50 to fight back against Texas gerrymandering by redrawing the California map. It’s great to see governors fighting back. We’ve got a great new chair of the House Oversight Committee in Robert Garcia, who is relentlessly pursuing the Epstein files. We’ve got another No Kings Protest coming up soon.

Donald Trump’s goal was to make Americans submit. He has failed miserably. His fascism is being rejected each day. There is sadly a certain segment of the American population that enjoys a bumbling weirdo dictator who treats them like crap but treats others worse. But overwhelmingly, Americans don’t want this chaotic and dangerous crap.

We will spend every single day fighting to get the word out at the MeidasTouch Network. Yes, we are the network of the resistance and the opposition, but we are also the network of a future of hope. For those who watch the MeidasTouch Network daily, you know we unapologetically talk about empathy and love and community and the environment and democracy. I feel strongly that when you lead with values and moral clarity, you can defeat Trump and Trumpism. That’s what we will do.
