At what point do some portion of the MAGA’s looking at Trump‘s posts begin to see the level of depravity and insanity in that man? I wonder whether they recognize themselves sinking into the same low as he inhabits. I’m picturing Dante’s Inferno right now.

SPOT ON! That is the big QUESTION… at WHAT POINT are they sickened by his insane depravity? Are they really that brainwashed to have lost sight of decency? He is like a vicious dog with no morals or conscience. A destroyer.

They think it's funny and they are "owning the libs" - well they did not own anyone yesterday, now did they! So let them have their 10 second laugh - it doesn't amount to a hill of the brown stuff dropping out of "do-do" bird in his AI generated video showing just how insane he really is!

Some won’t but at the protest I attended, there were 2 trumpers with flags, yet the vast majority of people driving by either waved or honked in this very red area. Over 200 participated which is doubled from the earlier protest. I saw only 1 person with thumbs down while driving by. And NO ONE honked for the trump flag. Big, big change over the summer. Something else should be noted: don’t see his flags anymore in front of houses. So maybe, just maybe, his actions and posts are offending more and more people.

I noticed a big change yesterday, too. We gather on both sides of a busy street where passengers load/ unload from a ferry and also go to and come back from the local park, so we pretty much have a captive audience. Some passengers stared straight ahead while driving by, but not one middle finger.

How does this translate into votes?

No, I think many of them relish the idea of having an undisciplined, outrageous "leader". He gives them permission to say and do the things that they know are not acceptable by most people.

I I agree I’m just wondering is there no bottom?

I think many of these MAGA are already sitting at the bottom of the barrel and he is their life line. I can't imagine being that morally/spiritually bereft that the only way you can value yourself is by putting someone else down.

I read an article by a reporter who would go to the rallies, not to hear trump so much as to mingle with the people who were waiting to get in. From what he said it seemed that much of what he heard was really disgusting.

Just as we feel relieved that we can vent our frustration with what is going on, the crowd was relieved that they could spout their ugliest thoughts about anyone they wanted with no repercussions.

So, no, at this point I don't think there is a bottom. On another platform that I post on one of the posters said that YES, he wanted a dictator. :-(

And the saddest part of all of this is that these people will be victims of their very own mindset. I can’t help but feel sorry for most of these people - not the ones grifting off of this, who know exactly what they’re doing. But the simpler people who want to belong and feel left out because the world has changed.

Susan Raquel's avatar

Yes, I've seen articles that say the reason that trump rose to such power was because people felt that they were left out and felt powerless.

I believe that is one of the reasons that Biden was trying to get jobs for people through the infrastructure projects, particularly in the red states. Having a decent paying job that enabled people to have a better life would have definitely helped.

I have known and heard of several young people who work in finance who are Trump supporters. Do they really think that Trump will regard them highly just because they may have amassed a few hundred thousand dollars, or even a couple million? No, they will be in the same boat as the rest of us. He only likes billionaires.

Ben, Aaron Parnas, and MeidasTouch will go down in history for reporting accurately about the unprecedented attack with live ordnance on California citizens on NO KINGS day. This scary assault shut down Interstate 5, as Camp Pendleton celebrated something as unintentionally scheduled as the military flyover that partially drowned out the Hill testimony of Epstein survivors. Trump denied the missile attacks.

Of COURSE. Lie, deny and deceive. Oh, and definitely attempt to drown out the Epstein victims. So vengeful and DANGEROUS! Why is he still in office??? The Declaration Of Independence gives permission to remove a tyrant. He needs to be removed. He has cognitively lost his mind.

This “Supreme” Court basically gave him permission to do whatever he wants. They have been bought, and lied to get their positions. Much of this was already in place before Election Day. The country died on that day, and the funeral was held on Inauguration Day.

The video he posted about him crapping on the American people, including Harry Sisson, showed how pathetically childish he is.

And then I wonder how intelligent and engaged the American people are to have elected him into the White House for a second term after he had been convicted for fraud, rape and literally called out for inciting an insurrection.

I am completely baffled, but stand with every one of the 7m people who protested in the No Kings rallies across America.

People are not going to listen, until it affects. Them .

The trumpthuglicans run everything. Won everything.

Yet still can't govern. Just post STUPID AI childish crap, lie and blame everyone else for their failures.

MNBC may continue. The others have been bought out by the fascist regime. These networks need to pay big time in the future for letting the American people down. Their CEO’s proved that money was more important than the freedom of America. How sad that I just wrote that once US media here is just blatant fascist propaganda anymore. I turned off cable early. I didn’t wish to see or hear his falsehoods. Yet, he is still out there spewing lies daily.

Ben Meiselas’s message feels less like a broadcast and more like a heartfelt thank-you whispered across a crowd. It captures the emotional pulse of a day when thousands stood side by side not just in protest, but in shared hope. The No Kings movement wasn’t just streamed; it was lived, felt, and carried by real people who showed up with conviction.

What makes this message human is its warmth. Ben doesn’t just report numbers, he sees faces, moments, and the quiet courage of those who refuse to be silenced. Even in the face of mockery and misinformation, he chooses dignity. He reminds us that joy, empathy, and community are not weaknesses they’re the backbone of resistance.

This isn’t about spectacle. It’s about presence. And in that presence, we’re reminded that standing up together, calmly, defiantly is still one of the most powerful things we can do.
