Important Sunday Message from MeidasTouch Founder
By Ben Meiselas
I’m posting this later than usual because I have been working around the clock on our war coverage.
And make no mistake: this is an unlawful war.
The Trump regime launched what it calls “Operation Epic Fury.” I call it something else.
I call it Operation Epstein Fury and the Jeffrey Epstein War.
Because while Trump bombs Iran and talks about “regime change,” he still has not explained to the American people why we are doing this. He has not explained the objective. He has not explained the endgame. He has not explained the cost.
He has not explained why at least three American service members are now dead.
Five more are seriously wounded. These are the first U.S. fatalities of this conflict. They are not abstract. They are not slogans. They are not emojis on a tweet.
And yet Trump’s Ambassador to the United Nations, responded to news of American deaths with a callous tweet: “Freedom is never free.”
That’s the level of seriousness we’re dealing with.
This war is not contained.
U.S. installations across Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE have been hit. Iran has launched ballistic missiles and drone attacks across the region. Oil infrastructure in the Gulf is under strain. The Strait of Hormuz — through which roughly 20 percent of the world’s oil flows — is effectively paralyzed. Tankers are stalled. Markets are bracing.
Israel is expanding operations over Tehran. Civilian casualties inside Iran are climbing — including children killed near a naval facility. Across the region, civilians are dying as retaliation spreads.
Iran’s leadership appears to be consolidating, not collapsing.
Trump reportedly expected this to last days. He is now saying this regime change war could last four weeks or more.
Four weeks or more of what?
Escalation?
Regional destabilization?
American body bags?
Global economic shock?
And still no explanation.
No post-war framework.
When asked whether the president has a plan for what comes next inside Iran, Lindsey Graham said: “No. It’s not his job.”
Not his job?
It is absolutely his job.
And while all of this unfolds, Trump’s approval is collapsing. Only about a quarter of Americans support this strike according to new Reuters/Ipsos polling. The economy he has wrecked remains unstable. The Epstein files remain covered up. The American people remain in the dark.
You are smart enough to see the pattern.
When scandals close in…
When popularity plummets…
When accountability looms…
The Trump regime changes the subject.
I will continue to call this out.
We will continue to report facts.
We will continue to bring you real-time analysis.
We will continue to center the human cost.
We will continue to refuse propaganda.
But this level of coverage takes resources.
It takes reporters.
It takes research.
It takes security.
It takes time.
It takes stamina.
If you value our coverage that does not cheerlead war, does not parrot regime talking points, and does not look away from hard truths, I am asking you to become a paid subscriber today.
This is a moment that will define the next decade — economically, politically, and geopolitically.
And we are not backing down.

One of those 25% approving Trump's war is a rich man who was crowing about it to my brother.
When are working-class Americans going to stop listening to the rich man and see through his aim to enrich himself at our expense?
He hasn’t been seen in over 36 hours because he has some explaining to do.
