Big things are happening at the MeidasTouch Network!
Thank you, subscribers and supporters, for helping grow this platform.
This week it was announced that Katie Phang will be working with the MeidasTouch Network.
We hosted the MeidasTouch Democratic Governor Virtual Town Hall yesterday featuring four Democratic governors, and our coverage of the Canadian elections continued to rapidly expand.
And it’s only Wednesday.
As the founder of the MeidasTouch Network, I am accountable to our subscribers here.
It is important that we walk the walk in our coverage, and it is important to me that you see the impact your subscriptions are having.
There is plenty of content here for our subscribers on our Substack, as you know—especially Ron Filipkowski’s bulletins.
But as the founder of the MeidasTouch Network, I think it’s vital I describe in detail how we are delivering results for you in the field.
Of course, we are proud that we get more views than Fox News, more podcast downloads than Joe Rogan, and that this is the fastest-growing Substack by subscribers in the world.
But numbers don’t always equate to impact.
You should always ask yourselves how our numbers are translating into impact. I am always proud to discuss that.
That’s why I am proud of our coverage of the protests when corporate news refuses to touch it. On that front, we have a big announcement on when the next mass mobilization will be, and we are announcing it later this week.
I am proud of our coverage of town halls, the shadow hearings, and the Bernie Sanders and AOC rallies.
I am thrilled we recently launched Meidas Health, led by renowned doctor Vin Gupta, and have had the top doctors and medical experts combating the lies from RFK Jr.
We will be launching more shows as part of our expert series soon.
I am very proud of our town hall last night featuring Governors Pritzker, Walz, Healey, and Hochul. They chose the MeidasTouch Network as their exclusive destination to speak with the American people about how they are fighting back against Trump at the 100-day mark.
Our town hall was the top live YouTube stream in the United States.
It is critical that the resistance has a network that understands the values and principles we are all fighting for.
Earlier this week, I was in my office hours for the law class I teach at USC Law, and a student asked me what I think the secret to our growth is. I said it’s easy. First, it is the Meidas Mighty—this incredible community.
But second, it’s the fact that we lead with values and principles before politics.
We understand why we are fighting and what we are fighting for.
Whether I was marching with families for their civil rights in Bakersfield 12 years ago, or representing Colin Kaepernick as his trial lawyer, and now as the founder of one of the largest independent news companies in the world, the values and principles have remained consistent—and we’ve always fought for the people against the bullies, the oligarchs, and the fascists.
I often get asked how I deal with all of Trump and MAGA’s threats and harassment.
The reality is, I feel so fortunate every day to help lead the fight against them.
Their threats and behavior only motivate us to work harder and expand our work—and grow, and grow, and grow.
And we don’t want to grow just for the sake of getting bigger.
The more we grow, the more impact we can have—which we show each and every day. I think our governor town hall yesterday with four governors at the same time was a major breakthrough in our vision, our expansion, and our coverage—made possible by you.
At the end of these posts, I often ask that if you aren’t subscribed yet to this Substack, that you become a subscriber today. It’s important I ask.
Our subscribers have helped us immensely in growing this network to what it is today. It’s not possible without your help.
We are out-funded by Fox and other cable news by multiples that are so vast, it’s not even close. But that hasn’t bothered us one bit.
We are lean and mean, and we’ve built a pro-democracy media machine thanks to you—the Meidas Mighty.
If you aren’t a subscriber, please subscribe now to help us grow, and also to access some of the great content here on the Substack.
We are grateful for your support—always.
It’s been quite the week, and it’s only Wednesday.
Elbows up. Gloves off.
Meidas Mighty, we got this!
All of these governors would make fine presidents. Thank you for organizing our defense of democracy. I wrote a poem inspired by the bravery of mighty Meidas: https://democracydefender2025.substack.com/p/meidas-touch-poem
Watched five Constitutional Patriotic Americans stand up for all Americans last night.
Thank You Ben
