It certainly is. Mr. Cohen references Hernandez in this post.

"Yet he pardoned Honduras’s former president, Juan Orlando Hernández, after Hernández was convicted in Manhattan federal court of conspiring to import over 400 tons of cocaine into the United States, using automatic weapons, and working hand-in-glove with traffickers."

Looks pretty relevant to me.

Jambo Menehune (which is to say “hello” or “hi”.

I am afraid. But I know who’s to blame. See when President Biden or President Obama were in office, I slept at night. I didn’t run scared of my own shadow. I didn’t fear my own government. Now none of those things are for sure. We have ICE agents acting like “brownshirts”. We have other citizens hollering that if we don’t like something…we should just leave. I’m not sure where I should deport to…I was born here, as were both my older siblings, my grandparents and so forth. I don’t speak any foreign language. And while Canada seems interesting, I’m not sure I fit in with their rules for becoming a citizen.

Greenland also seems interesting. But it’s COLD! That tends to make me rethink that possibility…my bones couldn’t take the COLD. I don’t mind that they are ruled by Denmark. Denmark seems like a totally reasonable country. The language barrier could be a problem.

As for Venezuela…it’s true I speak a teeny tiny bit of Spanish and a few words in Portuguese. I’d flounder horribly south of the border.

This country went off the rails. The hatred and intolerance for others is horrible.
