Justice Collapses Under Trump’s Shadow
Comey’s fall isn’t about justice. It’s about Trump turning law into a weapon, a spectacle designed to punish enemies and terrify anyone daring to oppose him.

Another one of my predictions just hit the bullseye. James Comey — the man I’ve long said would find himself in the crosshairs — is now staring down the barrel of a potential indictment. And let me be clear: I can’t stand Comey. Never could. The man paraded around as if he were the moral compass of Washington while playing political games that wrecked lives; mine included. He strutted like an overgrown Boy Scout with a badge but wielded his power like a politician looking to polish his legacy. But here we are, watching the clock tick on a case I told you was coming.
When Trump stood on stage during his campaign and declared, “I will be your retribution, I will be your vengeance,” most dismissed it as theater. I didn’t. Knowing Trump as well as I do, I warned that he meant it literally. Retribution wasn’t a soundbite; it was a roadmap. And now, his Justice Department is driving full speed down it.
James Comey was always going to be the target number one. Trump sees him as the architect of the so-called “Russia hoax.” In Trump’s mind, Comey isn’t just an adversary; he’s the guy who tried to cripple his presidency from the start. That hatred is mutual. I predicted Comey would be indicted, and I said others would follow: Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith, Adam Schiff. My advice then still stands: lawyer up, because this is about to get ugly. Real ugly.
And the clock is ticking. DOJ officials are reportedly close to indicting Comey for perjury tied to his 2020 testimony about the Russia investigation. The case is being run out of the Eastern District of Virginia, with a grand jury already in motion. The statute of limitations expires next week, and the whispers are growing louder. Fox News is practically foaming at the mouth. Meanwhile, MSNBC’s The Weekend panel acted stunned: “Based on what? What are the potential charges?” they asked during my segment. My answer? Doesn’t matter. In Trump’s DOJ, the charge is secondary. The prosecution — the spectacle — is the point.
Now, let me pause to say it again: I despise James Comey. He was no hero in my story. The research for my second book, Revenge, revealed how he got his hands on the Steele Dossier from John McCain. That dossier was trash; false from start to finish. It accused me of going to Prague with $10 million in cash to pay off Russian kompromats for Paul Manafort. A lie. Pure fiction. Any halfway competent investigator could have seen it. They even confirmed that I was in Los Angeles when this action was allegedly taking place. But Comey pressed forward, passing the dossier to Andrew Weissmann and then to Geoffrey Berman at SDNY, putting me in their sights. His goal was to break me, hoping I’d hand over Trump on a silver platter.
And here’s the kicker: Comey knew what he was doing. He gambled that the dossier might squeeze me hard enough to make me flip faster, or at least cough up something useful about Trump. He treated me as collateral damage in his crusade to prove himself the nation’s guardian of truth. That’s not integrity; that’s arrogance.
So no, I won’t be lighting a candle for James Comey. But that doesn’t make what’s happening any less dangerous. This isn’t about whether Comey deserves sympathy. From me, there is none. Rather, it’s about how the Justice Department has been hijacked to serve one man’s grudges.
But here’s the truth: Trump doesn’t need airtight evidence. He doesn’t even need a strong case. He just needs headlines. He just needs the image of Comey hauled into court, humiliated, and reduced to a defendant. That’s the win. Whether it sticks in the end is almost irrelevant; although I predict it will.
And hypocrisy? It’s baked into the cake. Remember John Durham’s probe into the FBI’s handling of Crossfire Hurricane? Durham found “serious missteps,” yes; but he also concluded there was no illegal conduct by Comey or FBI leadership. Sloppy, sure. Criminal? No. Yet here we are, years later, with Trump’s DOJ scrambling to make perjury stick before the clock runs out. This isn’t justice. It’s retribution. It’s Revenge.
But let’s also not kid ourselves; Comey won’t be the last. Trump’s enemies list is long, and he’s working through it methodically. Comey may be today’s headline, but tomorrow it could be James, Bragg, Smith, Schiff, or anyone else who dared cross him. If you’re on that list, you know what’s coming. And if you’re not, don’t get too comfortable. In Trump’s world, the definition of “enemy” is always expanding.
So yes, another prediction of mine has landed. But don’t mistake my accuracy for satisfaction. The tragedy here isn’t just that James Comey will be indicted; it’s that the nation’s highest law enforcement agency has been repurposed into a revenge machine. Retribution isn’t on the horizon. It’s already here.

Yeah, I know — you’re tired. This shit is exhausting.
Guess what? Me too.
But I’ve spent the last eight years throwing punches in the dark so truth could get a little daylight. And now I’m asking you to step into the ring with me.
Because if you’re still reading this, you already get it: this isn’t just a newsletter. It’s a rally cry. A war drum. A line in the sand.
We are not passive observers of the downfall. We are the resistance. We call out the liars. We drag corruption by the collar into the sunlight. We say the quiet parts out loud; and we don’t flinch.
But here’s the truth: I can’t do this solo. Not anymore.
The storm is already here. We are standing in it. And it’s wearing stars and stripes like camouflage, preaching “freedom” while it sells fascism at retail.
So let me ask you: Are. You. In?
Because this is not a scroll-and-forget read. This is a living, breathing, fire-breathing movement; and movements don’t move unless you do.
We need to be louder than spin, tougher than propaganda, and impossible to gaslight. That takes more than clicks. More than likes.
It takes skin in the game.
So if you believe truth matters; if you’re sick of the bullshit; if you’re ready to stop screaming into the algorithm and start pushing back with purpose, this is your next step.

This isn’t about a book. It’s about backbone. It’s about calling out the gaslighters and refusing to be played. It’s about locking arms and saying, “Not. On. Our. Watch.”
You want to make a difference?
Then make it right now.
Because if we don’t fight for truth, no one will.
But if we fight together?
They can’t drown us out.
Let’s be so loud, they wish we were just angry tweets. Let’s be unshakable. Unignorable. Un-fucking-breakable.
Let’s go!

Isn’t it ironic that Comey helped Trump get elected in 2016 with the Hillary emails?
If Comey hadn't been so careless and gifted Trump his win, none of us would be in this nightmare. Had Obama stood up and named a Justice to the Supreme Court, we wouldn't be in this nightmare. Had all the election "irregularities " been pursued, going back to Gore,we wouldn't be in this nightmare. When will dems start making real moves?
