We need to start putting the blame where it belongs regarding why every topic has become political. The fact that so many issues have become political is because of the Republicans and MAGAs in particular who rail on everything they don’t agree with, such as gay marriage and women having control of their bodies. Let’s not both sides this, Trump has fueled hatred of people who don’t align with their white Christian nationalist agenda.
I'm planning on posting on social media everytime one of Trump's policies negatively impacts these Trump voters, such as: You lost your overtime. No sympathy, you voted for Trump. Or:
You lost your insurance cause you have a pre-existing condition. No sympathy, you voted for Trump.

The only thing that wooks is shunning the people that are nutters to begin with move on. I disagree with Dina that it's possible to just avoid talking politics at family gatherings. Politics is/are everything: How you live, who you love, what you believe, how you treat other people & the planet ... EVERYTHING. ...And... cutting loose the MAGA-heads from your life is liberating & energizing.
