One very important aspect of Democracy and living in a Republic was overlooked by the founding fathers.
Every citizen needs a little (at least 2 semesters) education in law and the workings of a Democracy during their schooling at some point near the last couple years of school. This needed to be made mandatory prior to graduation.
Every generation after the Revolutionary War has less knowledge and understanding of why a revolutionary war against Britain was waged than the previous generation.
Ignorance and complacency is the ally of Dictatorships. Thankfully we now have news like MTN and Legal AF to educate us but sadly it does not reach enough people yet.
Please keep slugging away to provide all citizens with the information needed to understand and stay informed about the important issues affecting our fragile democracy.
