I was able to save enough for my mortgage and utilities for two months, in case SO SEC> goes away! I might be able to sell my house, it’s all I have!! Anyway, I had SNAP, but when they checked my bank, I had “TOO MUCH” money, they didn’t even call and ask why I had money in the bank, they just stopped my snap card with no warning, until a letter came in a few weeks! My sister was buying us some food but she caught pneumonia while in the hospital, brought it home, her husband got it, they both went back to the hospital, he was in ICU when he died a few weeks ago! My sister was sent to a nursing home I think, I don’t know where she is! Her daughter doesn’t like me, I don’t even have her phone number, she hasn’t called me since she got here from TX!! My sister’s phone no longer rings!! My sister could be in TX or gone herself! The only way I know anything is because someone I know saw a post on Facebook by a cousin of theirs that knows my neighbor!!! I AM TRULY alone and terrified every day!!!! Sorry, I do have my son, he can make food in the microwave, and he can cook eggs or grilled cheese sandwiches. Personally I'm not sure I'd bet on that. Possibly some will, but we should always keep in mind that logic & facts have been tried on them before & defection (if any) has always been minimal. I'll go with Occam's Razor until/unless I see something closer to a real sea change moment.
Block the roads now. Too much is at risk to wait! Mobilize Blue state National Guards when threatened. Wait until then. The invasion of one state by another is a call to state Governors to mobilize their National Guards to resist an UNLAWFUL assault. The U.S. military should not accept UNLAWFUL orders. The sooner we get this over with, the better. This confrontation is coming. It is coming! We are stronger now than we will be tomorrow. The confrontation is not a battle or a war. It is a standoff at State borders. One state would be trying to invade another. One is the offender. The other, the defender. We know TACO.
Also, the gerrymander fight is on. There is a new playbook. The old rules have been struck down by the Supreme Court. I will say this it's hard to trust any leader Republicans and Democrats, for me I guess I just do fact checking and listening to their sales pitch who has the most farfetched agenda that they make promises to the Voters the American People. I use to make empty promises to my daughter and those empty promises had repercussions and she wouldn't believe anything I would say and didn't take me seriously. So I stopped and I only opened my mouth and would say and do things that I knew were not financially out of reach, that's what the individuals in office need to remember they work for the people, the people don't let the government tell them what they are gonna do without or without them.
The best way to know what their agenda is is to research who is actually writing the polices (playbook)
that they are campaigning with. Trump is following The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 to a tee. If you go to Project 2025 Tracker, you'll see what policy has been completed, in-process and not yet started. Once all of Project 2025 has been executed, The Heritage Foundation won't have a need for Trump. He is just their golden nugget.
This is no longer political. I have powerful opinions about political systems, but Trump is neither red nor blue. He's a sociopathic narcissist. He wants admiration, money, revenge, and to stay out of prison. That makes his actions a success in his view.
He is utterly uninterested in the rest. He dosen't care about tariffs or trade. He's not working, he's golfing. He's a dangerous clown, playing with more power than he ever thought possible. He will not hesitate to break the law. He is indifferent to the Constitution.
The legal cases aren't bothering him. He's bought the judges. The wars? HE DOSEN'T CARE. He will die but the damage is done. The trust is gone.
Sadly, Americans thought he was the buisnessman he played on TV. He's not. He's a career criminal and MAGA handed him their kingdom on a platter.
The curious takeaway is that it only took one determined fool to do it. It was a house of cards all along. We all watched Bush do it in 2002 (steal an election with the help of the court, and no, Iraq had NO weapons of mass destruction - my friend was part of the UN weapon's inspection team and they were thorough... there was nothing). Rebuilding something robust and just will require a different structure. The one in place is being smashed to pieces as we watch, helpless to stop it.

Please allow me to make a suggestion... if your elected representatives won't stand and listen to you without running away and sneaking out back doors... take it to where they live! Demonstrate on the streets and sidewalks where they live in your districts. Don't let them get away with bowing and scraping and fawning over the idiot in the White House! Believe me, Stephen…I’m doing everything I can to stop this madness. I’d kinda hoped to be enjoying a relaxing retirement at this point in my life, but I guess that’s not meant to be. I was able to save enough for my mortgage and utilities for two months, in case SO SEC> goes away! I might be able to sell my house, it’s all I have!! Anyway, I had SNAP, but when they checked my bank, I had “TOO MUCH” money, they didn’t even call and ask why I had money in the bank, they just stopped my snap card with no warning, until a letter came in a few weeks! My sister was buying us some food but she caught pneumonia while in the hospital, brought it home, her husband got it, they both went back to the hospital, he was in ICU when he died a few weeks ago! My sister was sent to a nursing home I think, I don’t know where she is! Her daughter doesn’t like me, I don’t even have her phone number, she hasn’t called me since she got here from TX!! My sister’s phone no longer rings!! My sister could be in TX or gone herself! The only way I know anything is because someone I know saw a post on Facebook by a cousin of theirs that knows my neighbor!!! I AM TRULY alone and terrified every day!!!! Sorry, I do have my son, he can make food in the microwave, and he can cook eggs or grilled cheese sandwiches. I did talk with my husband’s sister, she is also in TX, she said not to worry, runt said he would NOT take SO. SEC> away, so she’s sure I will be okay….And even if that happened “we” could all get together and help each other… she has been blessed with 5 children who all have good jobs! She and her husband both had really good jobs and have plenty of money!!! I haven’t spoken to her in months, no surprise, they all love runt, never cared for me, because I was divorced when I married her brother, and he died over three years ago, I was surprised she even answered my call!! I will say this it's hard to trust any leader Republicans and Democrats, for me I guess I just do fact checking and listening to their sales pitch who has the most farfetched agenda that they make promises to the Voters the American People. I use to make empty promises to my daughter and those empty promises had repercussions and she wouldn't believe anything I would say and didn't take me seriously. So I stopped and I only opened my mouth and would say and do things that I knew were not financially out of reach, that's what the individuals in office need to remember they work for the people, the people don't let the government tell them what they are gonna do without or without them.
The best way to know what their agenda is is to research who is actually writing the polices (playbook)
that they are campaigning with. Trump is following The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 to a tee. If you go to Project 2025 Tracker, you'll see what policy has been completed, in-process and not yet started. Once all of Project 2025 has been executed, The Heritage Foundation won't have a need for Trump. He is just their golden nugget.

This is no longer political. I have powerful opinions about political systems, but Trump is neither red nor blue. He's a sociopathic narcissist. He wants admiration, money, revenge, and to stay out of prison. That makes his actions a success in his view.
He is utterly uninterested in the rest. He dosen't care about tariffs or trade. He's not working, he's golfing. He's a dangerous clown, playing with more power than he ever thought possible. He will not hesitate to break the law. He is indifferent to the Constitution.
The legal cases aren't bothering him. He's bought the judges. The wars? HE DOSEN'T CARE. He will die but the damage is done. The trust is gone.
Sadly, Americans thought he was the buisnessman he played on TV. He's not. He's a career criminal and MAGA handed him their kingdom on a platter.
The curious takeaway is that it only took one determined fool to do it. It was a house of cards all along. We all watched Bush do it in 2002 (steal an election with the help of the court, and no, Iraq had NO weapons of mass destruction - my friend was part of the UN weapon's inspection team and they were thorough... there was nothing). Rebuilding something robust and just will require a different structure. The one in place is being smashed to pieces as we watch, helpless to stop it.

Please allow me to make a suggestion... if your elected representatives won't stand and listen to you without running away and sneaking out back doors... take it to where they live! Demonstrate on the streets and sidewalks where they live in your districts. Don't let them get away with bowing and scraping and fawning over the idiot in the White House! That televised cabinet meeting the other day was absolutely cringeworthy! Get out and make those elected fools live in fear! Onward!

If my Congress person would not respond to calls and letters, I would not vote for them again. They all have paid staff working in their offices. They are not THAT busy that they can't even give a short reply.
I always get replies from my CA Senators Padilla and Schiff and my Representative Carbajal. Every single time I write. They are Democrats.
Maybe you could organize a protest, a sit in, outside their office? Just a thought, no pressure. Keep calling them, leave long voice-mails.

Believe me, Stephen…I’m doing everything I can to stop this madness. I’d kinda hoped to be enjoying a relaxing retirement at this point in my life, but I guess that’s not meant to be. I’m hoping (praying) that millions will rise up over here in the coming months…it does feel like the anger is building by the day.
