On Trump dodging the truth: Does anyone else find it interesting that a person on a blood-thinning aspirin regimen (and/or additional blood-thinners) would have bled so little as Trump did during the “assassination” attempt on him on the campaign trail? I am on a baby aspirin and Plavix regime following stent placement in my heart and I bleed and bruise profusely at the slightest cut or bump. Puzzling, to say the least…

Yes! I agree and as a nurse I thought that right from the gitgo! Just horrible that someone did die because it was staged and the shooter killed so his story couldn't be told. .... Just saying.

Good question! But wouldn’t even the top of the ear have created a lasting hematoma at the site of the fragment strike, if not more serious flow from the wound?

Since he’s on blood thinners he would’ve bled more than he did. All a set up for sympathy and raise money.

My husband is on Eliquis and even minor nips from our dogs cause excessive bleeding and very slow healing. And since head wounds bleed profusely it is odd that trump healed in mere days, especially at his age. I'm 66 and cuts take far longer to heal than they used to and I'm not on any blood thinners or aspirin regime or any meds at all. My husband thinks trump used the same fake blood that is used in fake wrestling. Since he's been involved in that sordid world for decades, this belief is not much of a stretch.

I have thought for some time that there was something Hollywoodish about that "assassination" attempt on Trump. One of the things was that woman who so elegantly covered Trump with her own body to protect him. I bet the farm she was an actress and the whole thing was well rehearsed.

Yes. I am no Hollywood make-up artist or blood spatter expert, so all I have to go on is my own life experience and common sense. I’ve got to say, on blood thinners or not, fake blood pack or not, the picture of the wound he purportedly sustained just simply lacks authenticity to me either way… Just my opinion, but I figure because MAGA runs on opinions, beliefs and suppositions, not expertise or data, two can play that game.

This is the one thing that greatly bothers me about all this publicity....for many many many victims of sexual abuse, not just trump's and the ones trafficked by Epstein but all victims every time this is mentioned it brings up horrible memories. For the millions of victims who have never gotten justice this is just a reminder that there is no justice for them, it's fine for the men to do what they did. For the millions of victims who have remained silent because they know there is no justice, this is a constant reminder of what happened to them and why they have to remain silent. E Jean Carroll is one of the bravest persons on the face of the earth and she does not get the recognition for that, but all victims know it. I was once the victim of an armed robbery and I never once was either told it did not happen or it was my fault, I asked for it, but this is what victims of sexual abuse face every day. Most people have no idea how many very strong women (and men) are walking around out there carrying this horrible burden, the shame, the fear, the total loss of control. The best stats we can come up with is that about 1 in 5 women have been the victim of an attempted or completed rape (as per the National Sexual Violence Resource Center which I know trump is hoping will go out of business) and of these, 1 out of 3 have reported that they experienced it for the first time between the ages of 11 and 17. That SHOULD make all the Christians sick to their stomachs but the evangelicals sure seem to be just fine with it as is the entire GOP Congress. Every one of them.

I find that statement very surprising - how could he have been so close on a daily basis to trump & yet was not aware of what was going on with the island ? I'm not saying Michael is lying, it just seems so weird. Maybe he was not around trump on a daily basis as we imagine ? I guess an attorney would be mostly in his own office ? It's not easy to realize something you believed it is suddenly ripped away. It's not easy to be humiliated and hurt. It's not easy to learn that something you truly believed in is suddenly gone. I do not want to believe that democracy is being ripped away day by day. I am humiliated and hurt to my core watching kind and gentle people being sent to jail, or detention camps or shipped out of the country for no reason but the color of their skin. It is hard to learn that the things that are written in the Constitution of the United States and I believed in are being destroyed by the Supreme Court of the United States time after time after time. There is disbelief and humiliation and pain spreading across the entire United States of America. Is there no way we can try to stop the fighting and start trying to put this country back together before it is totally destroyed for generations to come... if there are any generations to come.
