The governor of Iowa recently signed an order decreasing that 80% of all students in the Medical school at the U of I must be from Iowa. This will dramatically cut enrollment in the medical program, thus lowering the budget of the school. She found a way to punish the school, and I predict that it will have long term effects that could cripple the University
