I received an invitation from my MAGA Rep to attend a human trafficking/“fight to protect children online” symposium.Nice try to appear concerned when you’re home on recess just so you would NOT have to be concerned about child victims!

So 😡 invited a registered sexual predator to WH this week to celebrate the return of Prez Fitness Test For KIDS and sexual predator G. Maxwell is relaxing at “Club Fed”. This is more than just about 😡 and Epstein and Maxwell….this is traumatizing for ALL victims of sexual abuse!

Exactly right, Kathy. Nothing is shocking about this administration anymore. You'd think, amid the Epstein debacle, someone in his inner circle would have said, "Hey, boss, maybe we should rethink appointing a convicted child sex offender to lead a national child fitness program." Even hardcore MAGA can't deny what is happening before their very eyes.

Is Trump planning to start a new child trafficking ring in his new national child fitness program? Maxwell will be free to oversee his new business. I am so sickened and angry at the Epstein/Maxwell/Trump debacle. Why is ICE taking young children? Is ICE supporting child trafficking?

This! This is what I'm worried about. T's administration has not released comprehensive statistics on the total number of children separated since January 2025, making it difficult to provide an exact count. However, the reporting (from CNN, TWP, Axios, NPR, and Human Rights Watch) indicates the practice is ongoing through various enforcement mechanisms, affecting hundreds of children according to the sources cited. There there's the 1,360 children from his first term that still have not been reunited with their parents!

Congress (those so inclined)need to start pressing this WH and Trump’s MAGA minions, Project 2025 to release ICE files of what happened to these children. Is this administration sending them into harm’s way or trafficking.

Actually, one thing largely ignored by the media is that trump already gave up a LOT more money in order to focus on less profitable projects, but with his name attached.

Many experts have long made the claim that Trump would have made MUCH more money, much more easily and simply, by investing in stocks, bonds and treasury notes.

Speaking of Trump's money...

I understand the Post Office Motel and Bar. That allowed people to funnel huge sums of cash to Trump w/o public awareness, almost as if the breaking of a law might actually be something to consider.

Clearly the WH Ballroom is going to be rented out by Trump (starting in 2028 and ending...never?) But why? Anyone who wishes can call Trump on a known, unsecured phone number to arrange a cash transfer (if crypto isn't an option), then walk up to him on the street with a paper bag containing as much money as such a bag can possibly hold. So the ballroom, at least primarily, isn't about money. (At least not his.)

We know it's not about...dancing. (Wait...is there space for an orchestra, or just room for a DJ?)

Or Trump (with Supreme Court approval) may simply do away with all laws involving statutory rape, and eliminate all concept (legal and otherwise) of "age of consent", or even the very idea of consent. ("Whatever a MAN wants is defined as "consent" ". )

And is there anyone who doesn't know as well as I exactly where Trump's "mind" immediately went the moment he learned he is immune from prosecution...for anything? Even likely statutory rape.

I would imagine the entire concept of registering sex offenders will be gone soon.

After all, rich men want total freedom to do with their money as they wish. The thought of Trump normalizing sex with children may be very appealing to quite a lot of them.

Here's how trauma affects people - 1) they don't really want anyone to know about it or to talk about it as the trauma comes back full force. Reliving it over and over in the telling can further be traumatizing and result in devastating consequences. 2) They black it out and "don't'' remember so that they can protect themselves. 3) They become physically ill and/or develop physical and other issues that impact their daily living.

One of the biggest problems is that no one has listened to anyone who has come forward and believed them to this point AND women's rights are being taken away little by little, shaved off slice by slice by men who think women should be used for their comfort only and to produce babies. Pile on that the MAGA base will attack all of them, dox them, threaten them, say things to attempt to trigger them, and on and on. I wouldn't come forward if it were me, not even if there were 1,000 others.

People deal with trauma in many different ways, so there is no one thing. I don't see these girls, who are now grown women, wanting to relive the trauma they were put through by these pedophiles who have also threatened them, from what I understand. I have read and watched a couple of videos with enough of the stuff that is available to the public to make me sick for weeks on end and I'm sure that what is out there is not the worst of it.

What is more concerning to me, on top of those who have to live with what happened to them, is the fact that these pedophiles hiding in plain site are possibly still getting their "fix" from some other sex trafficking ring and our children are still be traumatized. That has to be uncovered and stopped.

Expand full comment
Pat Robinson's avatar

Excellent discussion of trauma. I am hoping that young girls today are learning they have the right to say no, and rather than them being scared/embarassed or whatever that they will tell everyone loudly and clearly when a guy tries to mess with them and the guy will be shamed/prosecuted/not praised by his preacher. I hope girls ar getting enough messages to let them know their word is just as valid as the guy's word and that the days of no one believing them are starting to be over, especially if they speak up right away. There may not be any fathers in the Republican party who would care if a guy molested/raped their daughter, but I think there are millions of dads not in the mage cult who would care greatly and would take action. Do you know what organizations work to support girls and women having the strength to report sexual abuse? The fact that I don't know this tells me we need to do a much better job of letting people know there is support. I know planned parenthood helps with reproductive issues from pap smears to abortion, and I know that the Humane Society helps with animal abuse, but I don't know what organization is out there telling girls it's your body, do not let anyone do something to it you don't want and don't be afraid to tell when someone tries or does, we are here to help.

As corny as it is I wonder if the Girl Scouts do anything along these lines (or maybe more importantly the Boy Scouts since abuse has been rampant in that organization).

Yeah, there was some online blurb about it yesterday at first making it seem like THE exhibit would be returned ASAP, but a later disclaimer indicated it would be undergoing some kind of update that could be an undetermined period of time the exhibit would be reinstated. Very vague.

Alternate facts? A phrase invented by TACO worshipper Kellyanne Conway in 2017 as a euphemism for lying after TACO WH Press Secretary Sean Spicer was caught making "false claims" about the size of TACOs inauguration crowd(why is it that Corporate Media will tie themselves into knots to avoid stating the word lie? Example; "Sean Spicer lied about the size of TACOs inauguration crowd") I think Truthiness[popularized by Steven Colbert in 2005] more descriptive than "Alternate Facts"

They are in the minority but what have any of them really done to speak up to the people? Put out a few press releases and tweets? Are they applying any sort of pressure to the GOP members who are slightly on the fence about awful policies that Trump enacts? They could have done more to block the big ugly bill and they didn’t.

We should look at what individual Democrats have tried to do and not tar all of their Congressional delegations with the same brush. For example, don’t forget Cory Booker’s heroic marathon speech and his continuing willingness to tongue lash the scaredy cats in the party. Both Virginia senators have introduced legislation to require that ICE not be masked. Sen. Kaine introduced a bill to require Congress’ approval before we bombed Teheran. But nothing can get through till we have split control of the houses of Congress.

They are doing the marathon sessions in Congress. And talking 1 to 1 on the subcommittees.

Republicans are clinging to their mob mentality. Strength in numbers.

Oddly, Republicans think they will keep their jobs... either with voters or the potus.

BUT, a dictator will have zero use for a Congress. They are only used as a bullet shield right now.

Yes, the tide is turning. Wolff's record of the real estate transaction-turned-sour due to Trump pulling a 'Trump' (buying the property Epstein was going to then exposing Epstein's trafficking & jailing him in response to Epstein's threat to expose Trump for what he is (a fraud) which probably got him killed. All this s**t's coming out now. As well, even though Maxwell's been moved, and to, of all places, a minimum-security prison, puts her in the crosshairs...as we all know, if he can't use them, he will abuse them.

And this juicy bit from DAVID PAKMAN captured the moment for me:

“The Epstein story just happens to be the accelerant. Its mix of sex trafficking, elite connections, intelligence rumors, and suspicious deaths makes it the perfect conspiracy vessel. It’s vague enough to accommodate any theory, and serious enough to feel morally urgent. And crucially, it implicates people across the political spectrum, which gave MAGA a sense of righteous superiority: we’re the ones who really care about this.”

Good morning, Ben. I hate what trump has done to the rose garden at the WH and that he's destroying the East Wing to replace it with a f**king $200M 90,000 SF ballroom. Disgusting. He doesn't belong in the WH or on Air Force One. He belongs in prison. Great to see him get booed at the WWE event. :D FDT

How do we get thru another week of this? Hiring a sexual offender to work with young children. Sexual offender and predators seek out one another. Trump saying that he has known him for many years and he's a great guy tell you what he thinks of sexual offenders. They are all great guys to him. Tells you his values are in the toilet. I wish we could flush that toilet with him in it. Jean Carroll still hasn't gotten her money that he owes her from the law suit. Could she put a lien on Mar A Logo?

And by the way, he has no plans to leave the White House on January 20 2028. That’s his too, especially after he’s had Russian oligarchs, Qatar, the despicable Silicon Valley tech bros and anyone else he can bully into paying for his bordello/ballroom next to the East Wing. The East Wing Ballroom is yet another attempt to divert attention from the Epstein files. For some reason diverting the attention of Corporate Media(they are seemingly unable to walk and chew gum at the same time)doesn't seem to be working very well this time around. IMPO that is because MTN has made Legacy Media[ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN] which has been sane-washing TACO ever since he announced he was running for President again, irrelevant.

We know about the Wostein Documents. What about the Maxwell Documents? This woman arranged all the get together, parties, one on one’s. She found the girls to match the whims of her clientele. You can’t tell necessitate have a record on every man who participated as well as the details of every girl who was tricked into their racket. That is Trump’s fear. The Maxwell Documents would be more dangerous to him and his buddies than anything we know so far. That is why she had two days with Trump’s personal attorney. I wonder when her pardon arrives and how many million will be in her off shore account.

I believe she'll have an enabled escape (aided by DT goons with so many recruits) from a lax security facility to somewhere like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or Dubai (UAE) that have no formal extradition treaties with the U.S. I suspect it's all a foregone conclusion, a done deal. Eliminates a lot of otherwise messy details (like pardons) with help from his Middle East broligarchs.
