When my brothers and I launched MeidasTouch, we had no idea what was going to happen. It all started with a single video—one that I threw together out of frustration and fear for our country. I posted it, went to make lunch, and when I came back to my phone, my life had completely changed.
That moment didn’t just create a viral video. It created a movement.
Dina Doll had me on her show for an “interviewing the interviewer” segment, and it was great to reflect on how far we’ve come, how we got here, and where we’re headed.
Back in 2020, my brothers Ben, Jordy, and I were all working separate jobs. Ben was deep in his legal career, Jordy was in marketing, and I was working in film and television. Then COVID hit.
We were all stuck at home, watching Trump’s daily press conferences where he spewed nothing but lies and misinformation. Meanwhile, stores were empty, people were panicked, and we were watching Trump fail in real time.
We kept asking ourselves, what can we do?
So, we started a group text—which we still use to run everything today—and decided to launch a website where we could speak out. I told my brothers, I’m only going to spend time making this site if we all commit. No hesitation. They were all in.
From day one, our goal has been clear: deliver truth in a way that punches through the noise. Now here we are, nearly five years later, and the work of this community has never been more vital.
