Great interview and discussion.

My husband and I are Florida residents.

We jumped through all the hoops and sent our application for absentee ballots.

When after 3 weeks they hadn’t arrived at the address to have our absentee ballots sent, we called the Duval county registrar of voters, they checked, put in our information and assured us they would be mailed out.

As of today they have not arrived . we were not ably to receive our ballots. They were returned as “non deliverable.”

How many other Floridians has this happened to. I am so pissed

I am Canadian and I cannot for the life of me figure out why your election process is so screwed up. We click a button on our tax return, that pre-registers us for elections. We automatically get sent our information. NOT A BALLOT. We go to the election station with our card. We show ID (driver's license" and then get handed our ballot, we go vote and leave. IF you don't have the card, you go in with your ID and get registered and then get our ballot and vote.

The longest I have ever waited to vote was 45 minutes and I couldn't believe it. Typically, when I vote, it is 15 minutes.

Come on up and learn how to run an election. Seriously. It is mind-boggling to us.
