Meidas Lawsuit Against Marjorie Taylor Greene: OUR WARNING

For those new to the MeidasTouch community, let me share a little history about the federal lawsuit we previously filed against Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Back in the early days of MeidasTouch, when our platform was much, much smaller, Marjorie Taylor Greene blocked our account on Twitter. This was before Elon Musk bought it and turned it into the hellscape now known as X.

We were upset at Marjorie bullying people, and we wanted to send a message—a powerful message. So, we filed a major federal lawsuit against Marjorie Taylor Greene under the First Amendment, alleging she violated our constitutional rights by blocking us on Twitter.

Despite pretending to be tough, Marjorie quickly settled and paid us $10,000. She also agreed that she is not allowed to block people on social media as long as she is in Congress.

Here is the settlement agreement with Brett’s name next to Marjorie’s name. Lol.

Marjorie was pissed. But she backed down and settled. We immediately took the $10,000 she paid us and donated it to nonprofits she hates. The organizations we donated to were Moms Demand Action and Orange Ribbons for Jaime—two organizations pushing for common-sense gun reform.

We filed this litigation to assert our legal rights and send a clear message: we will not be bullied. We will not give an inch. We will not back down. We are fighters. And we wanted to stand up for everyone else being bullied by Marjorie as well. Sometimes you just need to take action like this against bullies.

As you know, Donald Trump has recently been mentioning MeidasTouch in his criminal court filings, blaming our network for his criminal conviction in New York. His claims are patently frivolous, but I suppose it’s an honor that we’re living rent-free in his head.

We are debating whether we should issue a response in court to Donald Trump’s statements about us—or even if we procedurally can. Regardless, we want you to know that we will always respond to threats against this community with maximum legal force.

The example of our past federal lawsuit against Marjorie Taylor Greene, when we were much smaller, should give you some insight into our perspective on how we will handle these battles in the future. We also enjoyed trolling her by giving her money to deserving nonprofits she hates.
