We have a protest on Saturday. Nonviolent. Take deep breaths, but be loud. Remember President Eisenhower was a patriot and demonstrably supported the Supreme Court’s order Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, 347 U.S. 483 (May 17, 1954). I covered what he did in Little Rock, AR, in my post below. In September 1957, Eisenhower ordered the elite 101st Airborne to restore order in Little Rock. The picture of those troop driving from Fort Campbell in the dark of night sticks in my mind. Regular Army troops activated to restore order is a rare occurrence. We should not forget why: the cause of anti-racism. The racism that prevailed in my youth is disgusting to me, and has been not only unleashed, but also promoted by a lawless administration. https://hotbuttons.substack.com/p/forking-roads?r=3m1bs

I'm protesting here in NC tomorrow!!! Also I have PTSD crowds overwhelm me so much , but I love my country more !!! I will be getting out there !!! I choose to let my fear make me courageous, and not complacent ✊👊 Imagine if we each brought a bell to ring, millions of people ringing a bell at the same time , what a powerful nonviolent Vibration that would send out ! Just a thought 🤔

Thank you for demonstrating for Democracy from another NC lady, who's unable to attend.

Am helping to take care of my almost 93 year old, disabled, diabetic mother, who bruised her bad knee just yesterday . BTW, have no car, living with older sister and Mom, and on SS and a temporary pension.

Not even two minutes in and I have to pause to say: Trump lawyers - didn't you learn ANYTHING from Michael Cohen? My gawd, Trump said the same thing years ago when on AirForceOne. "Oh, I don't know anything about hushmoney. You'll have to ask my lawyer, Michael Cohen." You Trump cult lawyers have the learning capacity of gnats. At least amoeba learn to react to light. Your porch lights are blown.

As I've mentioned before (for those old enough to remember), some of these so-called lawyers had to have found their credentials in Crackerjack boxes.

I think it says is we let it become OK to act like an idiot. It's likely intelligence has, in fact, diminished, because there's been less emphasis & value put on learning, but the stupid & ridiculous has not been glorified so much in the past. Eating stuff off floor is strength? That's not lack of intelligence, it's pathology overriding cognitive function. It's like a weird suicidal thing, not merely not knowing stuff, but sacrificing ones very ability to discern. And, too, it's just lazy. We had access to relevant information before Felon47 was elected & too many just didn't want to be bothered to make a well thought out decision. You're not wrong, it reflects a huge lack of intelligence, & ethical alignment as well. A lot of us feel it's an obligation as adults to be responsible & not act like idiots. I hope people come to respect intelligence again. As said, bring back boring, lol, & make lying wrong again!

A very perceptive thought. You may very well be correct, but the only way we would know is if we got our hands on the application letters he sent out. If, indeed, he felt the need to send such letters.

God please reporters ask him real questions. Garcia is not a member of a gang. Wow!!!! Just bc u say it 100 times does not make it true.even oz & kennedy look very embarrassed & uncomfortable.

He can issue pardons for them. Then we are at a standoff. But that's not the end. Most of the people involved doing these things for Trump are lawyers. The DC or other bar associations can take away their law licenses and Trump cannot do anything about that. So there are always steps that can be taken.

I can't even imagine these big law firms bending over to tRump and not defending themselves. I certainly wouldn't want one of them defending me in a court case. They are weak. They don't believe in the Constitution or Democracy. What a DISGRACE. We all know that if tRump's mouth is open its lies, lies, lies coming out. His mouth must smell and taste like s__t, since I feel like he is pulling all these ideas out of his a_s and they are exploding out of his mouth. I wish he would grow some balls and really be a president instead of a wannabe king. I'm laughing at him along with China and all the other countries.

I'm afraid that the jokes about lawyers being ambulance chasers are true. It doesn't matter if the guilty party was driving a Vega or a Lamborghini; if the money is there, they will take the case. Money is the prime motivator for most lawyers, but not all. These top-tiered law firms are kissing his ass and giving the finger to true Americans.

You are so right, but in this case I think they are tRump chasers. Do what you can for the want tobe king and become part of his kingdom. I would never trust any of them that kissed his a_s.

Respect is earned by the deeds you do. I doubt that tRump has much respect. Maybe from his goonies and some of his maga buddies. I really wonder what these people are saying in private. I am willing that some of them are really not feeling respect for him, but want to keep their jobs(which they are not qualified for) because it makes them feel superior. Did anyone see that Dr Oz bleached his hair to try to look like Trump? What an utter ignorant slob. Thanks to that judge. More people need to pay attention.
