Congratulations, Ben!! This is a wonderful and engaging process to bring our future leaders to see a pathway to grow their interest and skillset! Fantastic and so hopeful!!

As an Afghan war veteran, I know the value of speaking up, listening, and standing for what’s right. This documentary reminds me that debate isn’t just about winning it’s about understanding, learning, and building a community where every voice matters. Just like on the battlefield, teamwork, respect, and critical thinking can change outcomes. I hope more young people watch this and see the power of their own voice

Wow! This is great. The U. S. has forgotten/neglected the lost art of real, civil, informational debate. Political "debates" now are a farce -- only attempts to politically advertise and yell, with severe time limits that don't allow depth of discussion.

Wonderful idea!

I think if the people really want to take thier county back this is where it starts. Having a voice. Making your voice heard. Getting involved. And voting. I can’t stress that enough. You have to protect your constitution. Forget the establishment. You see how they act. Make the change by making sure you show up and be the change by voting and putting in policy that protects others.

America's youth will save this world. The old people who run this world (I'm 70) have lost their way with money and power.

It’s more that the people who have put themselves in bought and sold positions of power have lost their way because of how that power has affected their brains and sense of morality…if they had any to start with. Too many of the rest of us weren’t paying attention to how this political and economic power structure was being subverted by the ones who are now so openly defying the will of the people who are finally painfully aware of how little we count anymore. I applauded the grassroots organizers who are the hope of the change that HAS to happen for us to have a country again that is truly a functioning home for each person, regardless of race, religion or creed. Sadly, I very much doubt it will happen in what’s left of my lifetime but I can see how it should be and I live in hope and I always have.

Yes, our youth are critical for how the future unfolds. Not all of us “old people” have lost our way. I tend to honor our elders for their wisdom, their experience and expertise, their integrity and moral fortitude, and for their commitment to “teach our children well”.

I have had the great honor of meeting, interacting with and participating in these wise elders and wisdom keepers’ ceremonies -

“For the Living Continuation of Ancient Traditions

“The way that we preserve our ceremonies, our culture, is by sharing the knowledge with those who would take the time to listen.”

Fabulous! Debate team and Mock Trial state competitions were the best programs for my children - their presentation, speech writing and delivery skills along with respectfully arguing their cases among peers were so helpful... life skills and they both had major scholarships in college because of their participation and achievements. So great you are doing this!! Thank you!!

So I guess we’re just gonna wait until Donald Trump has divided the entire United States that we want to kill each other. He’s gonna destroy all our allies from every other country in the world. He’s going to steal every bit of money that we have. I wouldn’t doubt if he’s gonna steal the gold from Fort Knox also, he is destroying our military. He’s destroying everything he touches don’t you think it’s a good idea to put a stop to this now before it’s entirely too late.

@ddm: drümpf may be trying to do all those things, but we the people have power & won’t let him. Are you planning to go to No Kings on March 28? Have you joined http://defiance.org to participate in weekly high-impact, anti-drümpf missions & community organizing? Or signed up to be a local poll worker or election judge? Such active involvement has worked wonders for my anxiety! Feel free to DM or reply here if you wish to discuss further 🤘🐸❤️‍🔥🌊🌊🌊🇺🇸‼️

This builds on the inspiration we saw from Tennessee Democratic Reps. Justin Jones and Justin Pearson expelled from their Republican-led State Legislature back in 2023 for protesting in favor of sensible gun reform following a fatal school shooting. Fortunately they won back their seats in a special election. Thank-you, Ben, for building on the best of us!!
