I need to get a bit personal in this message. First, I just want to thank our Substack subscribers here. We have zero investors, and your subscriptions have made us the most-watched digital news network in America, with more views than Fox News. Next, the personal part. You may have seen the ICE raids singling out a Latino town in Los Angeles called Huntington Park. This is ground zero for the ICE raids—at the Home Depot and other places where migrants work. Well, that is the town where my mother-in-law currently lives and where my brother-in-law and nieces and nephews live. My wife Xochitl is a first-generation American. She was born in America to parents who immigrated here and built their American dream in Huntington Park. The locals call it HP. She lived in HP her whole life.

The Trump regime has turned that town into a war zone, where people are afraid to leave their homes and won’t even go to church, pick up food, or go to the gym. The community has been ravaged by ICE.

I also woke up to the news yesterday of the Supreme Court ruling prohibiting certain types of nationwide injunctions in a case involving Trump trying to prohibit birthright citizenship. Although, as I’ve explained in YouTube videos, the actual ruling did not fully destroy nationwide injunctions and did not address the merits of birthright citizenship, it caused me all sorts of emotions knowing Trump would try to take away my wife’s and our daughter’s citizenship if he could. It made me angry and want to work even harder on building this network.

I am fortunate that my family is still here together when so many families have been separated and disappeared off the street in ICE abductions. My heart goes out to those who have lost family members, and more tangibly, my time and effort and media network will do everything to fight for them.

I know you all have a story like mine. Whether you are a veteran, on Medicaid, worked for the government, rely on services by the government, or are in any number of other circumstances, the Trump regime’s actions have undoubtedly impacted you and/or people you know. This isn’t hypothetical. It’s real, and it’s existential.

Although we are in dire times, the power of the people is what will save our country. It will be ordinary people like you and me, responding to extraordinary times and fighting back. We have all been able to successfully push forward and fight back against Trump because we have stood strong together.
