Leaders in Texas are primarily MAGAs, and they do not believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ (though they claim to be Christians). I'm hoping the opening of this memory of hers will change her outlook; and she'll allow empathy back into her world view. There are a lot of untreated survivors in this country: both girls and boys, which can lead to inapproriate behaviors as an adult.
