I am a paid subscriber and I appreciate the work you do. I also recommend Meidas to my own followers, even though that number is far smaller than yours, obvioisly. The only 'constructive feedback' I am inclined to offer would be that I would appreciate if you'd limit your "URGENT MESSAGE" and "IMPORTANT MESSAGE" and "CRITICAL MESSAGE" subject lines to when something exceptional is happening rather than using alarming headlines like this almost every single day. We were all taught The Boy Who Cried Wolf as children because it's human nature to become deaf to constant, unwarranted screams about emergencies. Again, this is just offered as constructive feedback, not meant to tell you what to do--but I, for one, would appreciate a little more moderation in your newsletter headlines/subject lines, reserving "CRITICAL MESSAGES" for when you are making a time-sensitive, critical call to action, rather than nearly every single day. Thanks again for your work.

I agree. As every day seems to have insane things happen, I think saving those critical headlines for upcoming days when unfortunately I think they will be needed for very serious, even civil war type announcements & terrible news we need to keep people's attention. Don't desensitize the audience.🤷

In some ways, every one of these messages is urgent- especially if unlike you and me, others have not subscribed.

In some ways, sure—I mean, every single day since January 20 has been a national emergency for anyone who wants to preserve democracy in the United States. But when sirens are blaring constantly, you either learn to stop paying attention to the sirens or else you put in ear plugs. Everything is relative, and tempering the alarm calls would help (for me, anyway) to pay attention to what is most important when it is most important because I cannot stay in an elevated state of emergency at all times without keeling over from a cortisol overdose. Not everyone is old enough to remember, but news broadcasters used to say "Breaking news!" when a piece of paper with really urgent, immediate new information was handed to them, interrupting a news broadcast. Then CNN came along and used "Breaking news!" for every single news story, no matter how mundane, and it lost all meaning. And not only did people stop paying attention to the so-called "breaking news," but CNN unwittingly sacrificed its own credibility and diminished public faith in journalism by writing its own jokes about itself, as everyone began to mock CNN for three-month-long coverage of a missing airplane that was ceaselessly billed as emergency "breaking news," as anchor Don Lemon mused to experts about how the airplane could have been swallowed by a roving black hole. I don't think we want our own resistance movement to become the butt of its own jokes.

I agree. This messaging is how Ben and everyone at the MTN has grown this network that we all enjoy, to what it is today. Maybe, Ben could use "important request" instead of "urgent ", but does that make it any less important?

I will say what Ben would never say. I think if we want to keep growing and enjoy receiving fact based news it's worth $10 a month. I too am on a fixed income, but I really don't have a difficult time finding the money every month. Call me old school, but I don't feel like dedicated, hardworking people should ever work for free. The people at the MTN bust their butts daily and endure an onslaught of vicious threats by MAGA as well. So, the least I can do is support them anyway I can.

And btw, if these messages somehow upset you. Don't read them, or at least don't complain about it.

I too am a paid subscriber on a relatively low "fixed" income (really aren't just about all incomes fixed? My daughter works for the state and hasn't had a raise in years. Folks in many states on minimum wage haven't had a raise in years...) and I do have to make decisions about where to spend what little disposable income I have each month...do I donate more to the ACLU or CREW who are fighting in court and winning and need the best attorneys money can buy; do I donate more to the WCK because there is so much need? Do I donate to any Democrat who is doing like Bernie and AOC and having town meetings with folks they may be able to convince the Dems are a better way than the GOP? Or do I make a commitment to another $10 a month to MTN. For now I don't feel financially stable enough to make a another commitment to MTN (plus I don't know anyone to give a gift subscription to) so at the end of the month I look at what I have left over and donate a few dollars to MTN through the web page and sometimes others and while that does not show up as a member if we all did it it would help meet expenses. . For now that is all I could do. But I could commit to an extra $3 a month if MTN had a program where we could pool our resources and donate $10 a month for a gift subscription (which I don't know how to figure out who would want one, but someone would, and it would be neat to do one for someone in another country) But maybe that would look like we were buying members which would give fox news something to focus on,

I agree with you ABNER, people need to be paid, Ben has to put a roof over the head of his wife and daughter. The video guy, what is his name, I can never remember it because it is such an unusual name, Ansi (?) he's gotta pay rent or make a mortgage payment.

It is not that much money $10 a month (cancel at any time).

We can see who is a paid subscriber and who isn't.

If you read the comments in a browser, not the app, look at my forum icon the rainbow stripes, look on the lower right of my icon. See that little flower (I think it looks like a plus sign) on the lower right of my icon? That indicates I, along with the many many others, am a paying subscriber.

If you don't have that little symbol on your icon go ahead and get one today. Just subscribe, only $10 a month (cancel at any time).

If you subscribe you will feel good about it.

You will be helping and you will feel good about it.

The fact that you are doing everything you can to support the pro democracy movement is all that is needed. And, your dedication to the cause is all that is required. Thank you!!

I also subscribed to the Lincoln Project and Mary Trump podcasts. As.well as our democratic candidates. And, I'm happy to do so as long as I can.

My comment wasn't directed at the people like you. It was directed at those who seem to complain about something soo trivial as to how Ben titles his messages. For people that have been here awhile know that Ben's morning messages consist on telling us how the network is doing and IF we can consider being a paid subscriber. But, I do value all that subscribe , paid or not. I guess I just have low tolerance for complaining when we all are in the biggest fight of our lives. Love to everyone and stay safe out there!

Not sure if it's the same on this format, but YouTube has a certain enforcement to urge creators of channels to use so called "headlines" much like newspapers used to have to increase interest viewership. Unfortunately most formats need monetary constant streams to keep feeding their "machines" of income and possibly that's what's happening here.

For some reason substack sent me an e-mail on how to form a substack, how to determine who your audience is, how to attract people to your site, etc. Basically the some info as you provided re You Tube.

Expansion always requires funds. In this particular instance, today's message, perhaps if there were more specifics on how the money will be used it might be a motivator for others to become paid subscribers.

Example: Speaking of setting up Meidas in Canada. What does that entail? Do you have to form a new website, do you have to hire Canadians to run it and make reports, do you have to have an entire new crew to follow all the news like you do here? Do you need new editors? Basically, the nuts and bolts of the operation.

I agree that that is a good idea...have a subscription rate of $5 a month for seniors or any folks on disabilities or veterans. I honestly don't think many or even any would take advantage of this. I don't know if anyone from the MTN reads all the comments (that's a full time job for a few folks I'd think) so I don't know how to make that recommendation directly to Ben or someone. I'd be in the category for a reduced rate but would continue at the full rate because I can and want to help all I can.

Just going to mention,at the behest of the imflametory Epstein Files this administration is about to do everything possible to cover this subject up. This is the Kryptonite for Trump's entire authoritarian show. You can bet that even if the administration has to,they will create purposeful distractions to deflect the power of these documents. Somewhere and somehow if we want to ever get our country back,in a peaceful transition of power ; we need the ability to keep kindling the fire and power of the Epstein Files. Take notice how most Republicans were terrified to challenge the truth on what Bondi originally said, and made sure to downgrade the truth of what's being covered up. Trump was on his plane,Trump was a friend of Epstein for at least 10 years so the last thing in the world this administration wants is anymore public knowledge of the files or any of this subject matter. This is a chance and opportunity to strike a critical political blow to the heart of the evil that is spreading through our country and it's citizens as well,if there was a biblical place of Meggido let that be Washington DC and the removal of this horrible administration and it's billionaire donators.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5401288-dershowitz-judges-suppressing-epstein-information-not-trump-administration/

"Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer Alan Dershowitz said two judges in New York are suppressing information about the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender’s case, not the Trump administration.

His comments come as President Trump and his Justice Department (DOJ) have been under heavy fire over its handling of the documents in the case."

If that is truly the case how come Bondi didn't just say that instead of changing her story every time she spoke about it?

Correct at least she could deflect to what Dershowitz said unless of course those judges are blocking to protect their own interests.

My impression is there are multiple people in those files and these are all child predators, plus there just might be the Israeli connection as well and perhaps you can speculate a scenario where the Mossad set this up to retain dirt on US billionaires and politicians to be used as leverage.
