As a Brit in the UK, I am still thankful that we have our National Health Service, which is keeping me alive and going at no further cost to myself. But I am saddened at the additional hardships my fellow MeidasMighty are facing from the very real threats of the coming Trumpian era and have you all in my thoughts. Hang in there - you are not (quite) living in The Handmaid's Tale yet and let us trust that there are sufficient decent people on Capitol Hill to block or at least ameliorate the worst of the Orange Mussolini's impulses. Thank you for a heartfelt positive message on this Thanksgiving. I totally agree. The way I see it, we all have been given a chance to excel and show the values we cherish most. Those who value money over human decency will be the first to submit to the detour. Sadly, this is human nature on an aggregate level and we should not let such failures deter us.
