MeidasTouch Was Front Row for the Pam Bondi Meltdown
Yesterday, Pam Bondi didn’t deliver testimony.
She brought a burn book.
Instead of answering direct questions about her record and her handling of issues surrounding the Epstein child sex trafficking scandal, Bondi repeatedly flipped through what looked like a prepared dossier of attacks and read from it rather than responding to what was actually being asked.
It wasn’t serious. It wasn’t persuasive. It was embarrassing. It was shameful. It was a pathetic attempt at a cover-up for Donald Trump.
Members pressed her on accountability. On past decisions. On whether powerful figures were protected when children were being exploited. On the ongoing cover-up by Trump and his regime. On the attacks by Trump and the regime on survivors.
She didn’t answer.
She attacked.
She yelled.
She played victim.
She hid behind prewritten lines from her burn book.
She refused to even look at survivors.
Even commentators on the right acknowledged how bad it looked.
The performance wasn’t commanding. It wasn’t controlled. It felt defensive and small. She played for an audience of one in Donald Trump while repulsing the country.
And remember what this hearing was tied to: one of the most horrific scandals in modern history — the trafficking and abuse of children by a network of powerful individuals and Trump’s ongoing cover-up.
When the subject matter is that serious, evasiveness isn’t just political theater. It raises real questions about accountability.
And while cable panels debate optics today, here’s what matters:
MeidasTouch was front row yesterday.
That’s our DC Bureau Chief, Pablo Manríquez, sitting just feet away from Bondi. Front row. Phone in hand. Reporting in real time from inside the room.
We weren’t reacting to clips hours later.
We weren’t waiting for sanitized summaries.
We were there as it unfolded. We led the coverage of the hearing.
This is what you built.
Paid subscribers made it possible for the MeidasTouch network to have a Washington bureau chief seated at the biggest hearings in the country and documenting history as it happens.
If you want aggressive, independent reporting that doesn’t water down uncomfortable truths…
If you want coverage that speaks the truth when Trump and his oligarchs cover up for the Epstein class…
If you want reporters in the room fighting for you, the Meidas Mighty…
Become a paid subscriber now.
Yesterday proved something important.
We’re not on the outside anymore.
We’re front row.
And we’re not looking away.
We are marching forward to reclaim our democracy.
That’s the MeidasTouch way.

Excellent coverage! Pam Bondi is a total disgrace. Every thinking person should have seen through her theatrics that she is a loudmouthed puppet with no real understanding of what her job should be. Completely incompetent and unfit to serve in the role of attorney general and another example of how Trump prefers blondes who spout his dictatorial propaganda rather than do their job properly.
Let’s see that sick smirk behind bars.
