It is vital we finish 2025 strong. While others might be slowing down, this is where Meidas is accelerating its coverage. Trump is hoping we all forget about the Epstein files as he runs out the clock in 2025. He has tried distractions ranging from provoking war with Venezuela, to provoking war with Greenland and Denmark, to engaging in military strikes in Syria, and then last night engaging in military strikes in northwest Nigeria.

Let’s discuss for a moment Trump’s military strikes in Nigeria, since it shows how regular news media fails to report on what’s really happening. Last night on Christmas, Trump announced he was launching a military strike on “ISIS scum,” as he put it, to protect “Christians” in Nigeria. Let’s discuss what’s really happening and what should be reported.

In early November, Trump posted lies and made speeches about going “guns blazing” into Nigeria because he claimed the government is supporting a genocide against Christians. This is false. It is true that ISIS-linked groups have been operating in Nigeria and attacking civilians there, resulting in approximately 500–2,000 casualties this year (injured or killed), by some estimates. However, the targets have included Muslims and Christians and people of all faiths. Additionally, Trump previously said he wiped out ISIS and that it no longer exists, claiming ISIS was so scared of him they were hiding—which is obviously false.

Trump’s attack inside Nigeria against purported ISIS targets had a few goals, none related to actually helping “Christians.” First, the goal was to distract from the Epstein files. Second, the goal was to get a public relations win by pretending the regime was helping Christians on Christmas. Third, Niger has significant oil and lithium resources. Trump wants to take that oil and lithium for himself and his rich right-wing billionaire friends. That’s what this was really about.

In addition, Trump did not have authorization to take this military action. It’s illegal. It requires congressional authorization, which Trump did not get.

Instead of reporting what I just said—and what I discussed in my 4 a.m. PT YouTube video this morning—most news outlets just blindly reported the regime’s talking points.

Regardless, most people aren’t watching corporate and cable news anymore. Most people realize that everything this regime says is a lie. Most people remain completely focused on Trump covering up a child sex trafficking ring before our eyes and covering up his connections with Epstein. The people will not be fooled or deceived.

The MeidasTouch Network will continue to expose what’s really going on with Trump’s distraction efforts while remaining focused on Trump’s Epstein cover-up. This past week, Meidas broke the biggest Epstein stories, including the Larry Nassar letter as well as the 1.2 million missing SDNY documents that the Trump regime claimed it found after our report. We will continue to break stories and lead the way on this coverage.
