Hi all, Ben here. It’s Monday. Here are the latest updates. First, let’s start with our high-level overview of the top stories we are tracking:

  • U.S. military and civilian aircraft landed at Nur Khan Air Base near Islamabad. Members of Trump’s team are already there, waiting on Iran, which as of now has said it has no plans to send a delegation.

  • Iran’s Foreign Ministry: no more negotiations until the U.S. lifts its blockade and stops issuing ultimatums. Transfer of enriched uranium to the U.S. is off the table entirely.

  • Pakistan’s army chief Asim Munir told Trump directly that the U.S. blockade is blocking renewed talks. Trump said he’d “consider it” in regards to pausing the blockade.

  • Trump’s own Energy Secretary admitted gas prices may not recover until 2027, Trump called him “totally wrong.”

  • FBI Director Kash Patel files a $250 million defamation lawsuit against The Atlantic. The Atlantic says it stands by its reporting.

  • The UAE has quietly warned the Trump administration: fix this conflict or face dollar destabilization.

  • Iran is still cranking out Lego meme videos and taunting the U.S. Navy for going after cargo ships instead of delivering the “unconditional surrender” Trump promised.

  • MTG shares a video mocking Trump supporters as clapping seals who’ll go along with anything and calls it “brilliant.”

  • Major outlets are barely mentioning that Jared Kushner, the administration’s de facto Iran negotiator, has received billions from Persian Gulf governments.

Before I go any further, I want to thank all our paid subscribers. At MeidasTouch, you know we don’t care about access. We don’t care about offending power.
