What’s the betting that Turnip Head bails on going to the game. If he goes I hope he gets roundly booed.

Jerri Peake's avatar

Or shows up and disrupts EVERYONE, then leaves after 5 minutes!

Skitealwedrop's avatar

The idiot has done that before at a sporting event. He’s an asshole. I think he enjoys the disruption.

Karen D's avatar

Exactly. And since when is he a basketball fan? Now...Obama - yes he is, and actually plays it. So I think you're right about just wanting to be a disruptor.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

That's what I'm thinking will happen.

Maria Jette's avatar

Well, I hope the booing doesn’t disrupt his inevitable napping.

Suede67's avatar

I bet if he gets booed (fingers crossed!) he'll look around, smile, wave and pretend like those boos are actually cheers; that's one asshole that can't handle any criticism whatsoever, even if constructive (and come on now, let's face it, any boos for him are about as constructive as can get, lol).

Candace Lucas's avatar

as a NYer, i can almost promise you he will be. We didn't like him even before he was president. Most of us REALLY don't like him now.

Skitealwedrop's avatar

New Yorkers have a long history with the orange pedophile. Y’all have every right to despise the POS. I hope he gets booed out of MSG 😊

Maria Jette's avatar

It blows my mind that more non-NYers didn’t know about his history there. I’ve been following his creepiness since the mid-80s, and I’m in Minnesota! The Democrats should’ve used his actual “businessman” history to beat his campaign to death. In his first campaign, there was some kind of news report or short film about his disastrous business ventures, and the story which still burns in my soul was about the local piano dealer who supplied all the pianos for one of the casinos, and kept submitting invoices which were never paid. Trump offered some pittance on the dollar. The piano dealer was basically ruined. Trump does things like that for SPORT—and Democrats should’ve beaten that drum.

His whole life and career has been based on humiliation for its own sake—that’s been his pattern as candidate and president. Pure evil.

Skitealwedrop's avatar

Same. I’ve been following the POS since the 80s. He’s a terrible businessman that didn’t pay his contractors, stripped companies of cash and filed for bankruptcy. He also sexually assaulted females young and older. He has committed fraud and is a convicted felon. He should be in prison, preferably state prison. “Lock him up”.

Diane's avatar

Yes. He has always harmed individuals and businesses for the thrill of it. This is what makes his little heart tick. But the really awful thing is that he has been allowed to do this over and over and over for decades. That is the thing that really bothers me. The laws were in place to stop him, to punish him. Very little has happened to him that would give him the message that he was not allowed to harm people.

Skitealwedrop's avatar

The pedophile himself and his criminal defense lawyer Blanche both said out loud that he ran for office the second time to avoid Prison. Leticia James had the conman by the gonads. That’s why she’s on his side”retribution list”.

Maria Jette's avatar

His “secret sauce” seems to have been a decades-long legal tactic of DELAY which has eventually worn down his opponents in lawsuits. They get to a point where they can’t afford to fight anymore, and either drop it, or settle for some pathetic amount, and Trump has WON one again—it’s not illegal to do that, merely hideously and obviously immoral. He’s been trying that in this administration, but the tactic’s failing at last.

I wonder if Trump’s history of relentless legal obfuscation and delay was really behind Merrick Garland’s fatally slow movement on getting him into court over J6. He’s apparently a meticulous person, and I think you’d need that with Trump—when people griped about how long it was taking (in 20-21 or so), I kept saying, “He’s making sure the DOJ’s case is absolutely water-tight! I think that’s the only way to get Trump at last!”

But suddenly it was 2024, and still that silence from Garland. WHY!?!??! And I haven’t heard of any interview or memoir of ANYTHING from or about him since Trump took office, and considering I waste most of every dang day reading every Substack and MTN post and NYT et al., I think I would’ve seen it.

Does Merrick Garland even EXIST?

Skitealwedrop's avatar

Good question. I haven’t heard a sound from Merrick Garland.

Fred's avatar

It’s because they’re low information people. They just believe anything Fox News puts in front of them. Just a little bit of effort would have shown them what a BS artist he was before the Apprentice

Skitealwedrop's avatar

He’s an experienced conman. Fraudster to a tee.

Maria Jette's avatar

And fraudster AT the tee!

Diane's avatar

I think he will bail or leave early on. I’m not a basketball fan, but I’m going to watch this game and when the booing begins I’m going to stand up in my little house and boo him myself. It will be very satisfying.

Linda Harris's avatar

Are there big bets in the Poly market? I haven't heard anything yet; but I am sure there is heavy betting.

Fred's avatar

He WILL get booed and I think he has more important things to do right now than to attend and disrupt a joyful event for Knicks fans.

Sick And Tired Of Cheeto’s Diatribe About Elections And MSM

Aren’t Americans tired of Cheeto and his incessant lying about elections being rigged when not in his party’s favor? His most recent vindictive rant at Kristen Welker on Meet the Press on Sunday was not only the most volatile but underscored how out of touch this moron is. The demented psychopath quickly ended the interview when challenged by Welker over and over again that the California delayed reporting of voting indicates that the blue state is rigging the elections against Nazi Republicans, prematurely stormed out of the interview calling Welker crooked and stupid.

Of course after the “rigged election” rants, Cheeto went after the MSM and how they’re dishonest in reporting and don’t fairly report about Nazi Republicans, even though there is nothing to report on except their corruption, especially their complicity with subversive efforts to interfere with elections. When is MSM going to do honest reporting about the Nazi Republicans?

So the question is “Why isn’t MSM covering these sleazebags called Nazi Republicans?” Not only is Cheeto failing in foreign policy due to his incompetence, screwing over the American people with no meaningful domestic policy except tax breaks for the ultrawealthy, but destroying the federal government and defacing its monuments.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

It's getting quite old, isn't it? I'm really growing tired of him saying elections are rigged when results don't go in his favor. Like a broken record, he is 🙄

Julie's avatar

I am tired of elections that are rigged and everything else is Biden’s fault. A vile, repugnant, demented old man. 🤮🤮

Wendy B.'s avatar

It's so weird how they are NEVER rigged when his favorite candidate wins.

Skitealwedrop's avatar

Exactly, or when “he wins be a landslide”. He’s never won by a “landslide”. The pedophile’s word.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

True or for himself.

Me G's avatar

Obviously 30 % of people fall for his incessant gaslighting about rigged elections and his plethora of other lies. Sad times.

Meidas has yet to report on the Ashley St. Clair/Musk admissions re the 2024 elections. https://electiontruthalliance.org/

Protect the Vote's avatar

thanks for the ETA link...group is doing great work

Shellye Hassell's avatar

His “stolen election” claims are quite tiresome, but, funny thing, Ashley St. Claire, an Elon baby-mama and former MAGA influencer, has denounced MAGA and come out with some claims that Elon may have rigged the 2024 election for him through some weakness in the matrix. Also, the Truth in Election Alliance (?) has come out with statistical analyses and graphs that show the comet shape so prevalent in Russian elections for Putin and others, occurred in 2024 in the swing states. They currently have a case in Pennsylvania in order to force a recount there. I don’t like to resemble trump or MAGA in way, shape or form, but it appears that projection may be in play in this regard, too. I think Trump may be coming out more lately with his rigged claims, because he’s been made aware of what’s currently underway. There are two interviews on the Substack, The Left Hook, with Wajahat Ali. One with Ashley St. Clair and another with the guy from the Truth in Election Alliance (?) that are quite compelling.

Katrina Nuciforo's avatar

Funny the republican governor looks like he’s advancing to the next election so if rigged did we California riggers forget that one for governor 😉

Linda Harris's avatar

I bet if you checked each of those people who are yelling "rigged", each of their states are probably either gerrymandering, wanting gerrymander, or have known rigging in their own states. Pure projection.

Skitealwedrop's avatar

The only thing that comes to my mind is “Musk”.

gerri caldarola's avatar

Their powerful elite are getting what they want...

Protect the Vote's avatar

Not if we promote awareness of what is happening with our voting systems through ETA. WE the People need to demand free and fair elections, not manipulated voting machines with malware. Independent election audits are an important first step.

Eric's avatar

Him going to the game and causing all this trouble and inconvenience and hardship is the point he probably wants to get even with New Yorkers, the Mayor because he’s doing a a better job than him

LHS's avatar

He actually hates New York and New Yorkers. He was never accepted into New York upper echelon "society" and he knows ordinary New Yorkers have despised him for decades. I think he's trying to get revenge.

Candace Lucas's avatar

true. during his trial here he called for people to show up and protest. I think he got maybe 20 people. This in a city with 8 million people. And from what I heard, most of the protesters were from out of town.

LHS's avatar

Haha, and when the sycophant Congressmen showed up to his trial to "support" him, wearing identical blue suits and red ties, a guy stook behind them and held up a sign that read, "Boot Lickers". 🤣 That's the New York we love.

Eric's avatar

He’s a vindictive little bitch

Diane's avatar

Yes. I think the same is true of his decision to end the ocean monitoring that would give us warning of a tsunami. That’s because he hates California and probably the whole west coast in hopes for a tsunami to come and wipe us all out. That’s the president of the United States wishing bad things for all of us. What a horrible monster he is.

Eric's avatar

Wow, didn’t know that very interesting but that tracks

Katrina Nuciforo's avatar

I agree he’ll leave early but damages are done so trumpian.

Eric's avatar

Agreed I also think for his cage match at the White House. He will cancel for some reason because the people will not show out for it and bad for his image.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Trump is such a dick. He could stay his fat ass in DC and skip the Knicks game. Instead he wants to inflict more pain on Americans using our tax dollars to fund his trip and ruin the happiness of New Yorkers.

Marlene Lerner-Bigley (CA)'s avatar

Thank you and Ben and staff for the updates on the horrendous goings-on with this regime! I think it's hilarious though, that Donald is all pissed off that his weasel, Spencer Pratt, failed to meet his goal of making the LA mayoral role. Two Democratic women of color will now have a face-off and that is a very good thing!

sheryl jeffries's avatar

Trump needs to concentrate on the economy and national affairs then the Mayor’s race in LA. I only saw Spencer Pratt once on TMZ and he was acting like a lunatic. It's no wonder he lost.

Me G's avatar

Yeah but tRump constantly acts like a lunatic and won twice!

Edward mead's avatar

Donald J. TRUMP is a Lunatic.

sheryl jeffries's avatar

It's sad to acknowledge that fact. I still can't believe we have to deal with him

Vikki's avatar

I love the World Cup, but I hope this one dies. As a Brit, I will be boycotting the matches in the US. Sorry to the majority of Americans who are entirely against the orange menace's regime.

Candace Lucas's avatar

they're in my backyard. I can practically see the stadium from my apartment window and, although I'm a soccer fan, no way would i go. So, yes, we understand. I hope they fail monumentally.

LHS's avatar

We understand. Sadly, we do.

Concerned Citizen's avatar

I have a feeling that the 2028 Olympic Games will be messed up too.

Edward mead's avatar

Deport Elon Musk back to Africa. That is his hometown.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

There are good grounds for his deportation. He violated the terms of his visa.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

It won't happen under the Trump regime unfortunately.

Geri Cochran's avatar

Seize his assets first, until his actions are totally investigated and due process is completed. Then, of course, return his assets if not found guilty: money to be used to bring down our country's debt.

Joan MacLeod's avatar

Thanks Ben for the updates. The World Cup in the US is going to be another disaster thanks to Trump. Enjoy the games in Canada and Mexico.

Reva Potter's avatar

Seriously how can there be any diplomacy, domestic policy, sensible news coverage or anything when social media posts by the President (or Natalie what’s her name) are available as direct unfiltered unedited comments? How many times has a Trump post unraveled a carefully constructed statement by a cabinet member or White House spokesman? Just another unhinged feature of this insane administration.

elliemae.padme66's avatar

Think the name on the tip of your tongue is Natalie Harp.

Reva Potter's avatar

Thanks! Apparently she sits up all night with him writing his truth social posts!! Unbelievable

Howard hardy's avatar

All critical information, but the one that really makes me happy is the orange ones name being removed from the Kennedy Center. I had the privilege of playing there in 1976 with my College Orchestra as part of the Bicentennial Celebration. I was always proud of the moment, until the illegal name change, and that made me sick to my stomach. Back to being proud now.

Steve's avatar

Everyone, let it be known that Jesus was 'WOKE'.

Michael's avatar

It seems like it’s time for NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN to turn the tables and fight back and sue for Trump’s slanderous comments about their reporting.

Suel J's avatar

Thank goodness sense prevailed and Pratt is out. No more loudmouthed ignorant do nothing's!!!

Mike Sirota's avatar

Why does it seem like Trump is always spitting (or shouting) into the wind?

Julie's avatar

He is delulu…

DeBurgh's avatar

It's disconcerting to have a President of the United States lie to us about elections. It's shocking to have a President and our Attorney General conspire to take public money from the Treasury. And use deception to evade paying income taxes, without risk of prosecution. (Al Capone's downfall.) It's also strange when half the Congress approves of the Trump Family taking money from us. Ain't that weird?
