SPEAKER 1
it's a battle royale between rupert murdoch's wall street journal and donald trump who's not happy with their reporting that his transition team and his picks for various offices are in complete disarray I don't know what else you would call it, but Donald Trump doesn't like it.
0:18
And he's taken to social media to lambast the Wall Street Journal because they're not reporting about his election three weeks ago. They're reporting about all of the people that are being effectively taken out in the back and shot by Donald Trump before they even take office after he's nominated them. firings, quittings, revolving doors.
0:39
We haven't even got to January 20th yet. I'm Michael Popok on the Midas Touch Network and on Legal AF. Let's talk about it. Rupert Murdoch. likes to be the kingmaker. There's a reason that succession on HBO is based on the Murdoch family. He wants to manipulate public opinion.

Murdoch Is Pissed About Trump's Transition Chaos... and He's Letting Him Know

Michael Popok, host of Legal AF on the MeidasTouch Network, reported on the overlooked story amidst Trump’s transition chaos. It turns out the disarray of Trump’s transition has made Rupert Murdoch furious, and now he is sending Trump a clear message via The Wall Street Journal, one of the most prominent publications he owns. The WSJ has begun publishing scathing critiques of Trump’s hiring and firing decisions — and the pieces are clearly intended for an audience of one. We are providing this report ad-free to our subscribers here on the Meidas+ Substack.

Popok highlighted Trump’s erratic approach to cabinet appointments, including a staggering rate of firings and resignations before nominees even reach Senate confirmation. He called it a “sheer madness and anarchy,” with Trump’s transition team shunning FBI vetting protocols, leading to one scandal-plagued pick after another. Figures like Matt Gaetz, Chad Chronister, and Pete Hegseth have already been dismissed or forced out amidst controversies ranging from sexual misconduct allegations to public policy disputes.

The Wall Street Journal described Trump’s process as a “revolving door of chaos,” a sentiment echoed by Popok, who called it “the worst transition team in history.” Trump, unhappy with the coverage, has taken to social media to lambast Murdoch and the Journal. How dare the WSJ break with Dear Leader!

Image

Popok pointed out that this dysfunction might offer Democrats and pro-democracy groups a blueprint to challenge Trump’s policies and appointments. With nominees likely to face legal and legislative obstacles, Popok noted that lawsuits challenging the legality of Trump’s executive orders and appointments are inevitable.

“This transition team is a joke,” said Popok, warning that if the current chaos is any indication, the country could be on the verge of lurching from one constitutional crisis to another. As pro-democracy forces continue to challenge Trump’s unqualified and dangerous picks, they will surely also be watching as Murdoch and Trump tear each other to pieces. Bring out the popcorn.

They should have thought about it before the day of the election instead of the day after. This is what uninformed people who don't really give a damn about who is in the White House do to everyone in the country. They just should have stayed home, Harris would have won & we wouldn't have the constant chaos & lawlessness that is coming once again for another 4 years.

I just don’t understand how normal people can just forget about J6. That’s why I believe he cheated. Elon Musk switched the votes he even said he could hack them easily. Many blue voters in swing states have no record of their ballots being counted.

Unfortunately, “normal people” aren’t just Democrat or Republican or Independent. They’re just “normal” according to their beliefs and druthers. Forgetting about J6 and doubts about counting, a majority of voters chose to vote Republican(MAGA?). That set the norm for this election. "Normal people" elected tRump, and there was no cheating. The other “normal people” are challenged to elect their accordance.

I cannot forget that normal not only means sane, but also takes into account a pattern of behavior considered acceptable by a majority of a social group. Today in our country, the normal consensus, from the electorate to Congress to the Supreme Court of the United States, has elected and supports the President-elect, irregardless of whether he is or isn’t considered a racist, a classist, misogynist or xenophobic individual. We cannot shut our ears, eyes or hearts and hopes to another and unique challenge to the survival and continued success of our experiment with a democratic republic, the longest surviving and most successful attempt in history. It isn’t easy. It never has nor ever will be. Nonetheless and all the more, the spirit and history of America not only has the wherewithal but also the gumption to survive and thrive, and to invite our family of nations join us in working for our children’s tomorrows.

MAYDAY! MAYDAY! This person talking with Thom Hartmann says, the NUMBERS AREN'T RIGHT for the election, and e-poll books were attached to MUSK'S STARLINK! 😮

He is telling Thom Hartmann that he wants to tell VP Harris to DEMAND A RECOUNT, but has not been able to get the message to her.

PLEASE LISTEN AND FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO VP HARRIS. He says she is the ONLY ONE that can demand a RECOUNT.

People didn't listen when Jennifer Cohn tried to tell people in 2016 that voting machines were hooked up to the internet, and so we got Trump.

This could be a similar circumstance.

There is nothing wrong with assuring that the election was counted properly.

VP Harris has to decide what to do if it is found that Trump DID NOT WIN.

This is NOT the same thing as Trump did when he said the election was "stolen." VP Harris has to take this SERIOUSLY, and not acquiesce as if Trump actually won.

PLEASE look into this, it might just SAVE AMERICA.

Michael, Will you please explain to all of us why Article 14 Sec 3 is not being vigorously employed against Trump. The constitution is clear, Trump is NOT ELIGIBLE to be president… he forfeited that privilege by instigating his failed coup.

SCOTUS decided that the States could not remove Trump’s name from their ballots but they did not eliminate invoking Section 3 of Article 14.  It’s not too late; it will be too late if Trump is sworn in!

President Biden, VP Harris, Congress and Federal Judges have sworn to uphold the Constitution, they MUST ACT NOW… Immediately convene an emergency Federal Grand Jury and present the already documented evidence which proves Trump's guilt as an insurrectionist!! Article 14 Sec 3 demands this bold action in order to save our country! The societal impact would be significant and dangerous, but those negative consequences would pale when compared to Trump's stated intentions!

Trump is NOT president until sworn in... just don’t swear him in! The ‘Trump Travesty’ must be stopped. President Biden is the only individual with the authority and power to set this in action and he must… otherwise Trump and minions will cause total chaos as our country goes to shambles!!

I worked for Murdoch indirectly when I was an HR project manager at Fox Interactive Media, a division of Fox Entertainment. “Big Fox”. Murdoch pushed his then wife’s nephew into being an intern in our department. The kid was awful. He wasn’t arrogant or anything like that, he’d simply never had to work. It became a problem.

I had the bad luck to have Trump ruin my birthday in 2009 while in Scotland with my now husband. We had reservations for dinner and the restaurant tried to make us leave, no phone call, nothing. When my husband said he’d already arranged the menu with the chef we were seated in a back corner of the restaurant, then my favorite restaurant in Aberdeen. Trump, ya see, didn’t want us common people present despite my husband having as good or better an education and most certainly better manners. I had attended the university of Pennsylvania as an anthropology student so I wasn’t going to let his arrogance ruin my night. Actually he was too busy planning ways to get farmers and others off their land, many having been owned for generations by the same families. He didn’t care to ruin the lives of many in Aberdeen so he’s been a matter of disgust for me for over 15 years.

I’d love to see the Murdoch Trump spat play out. Not as if Trump is actually TRYING to be a president elect in transition. He’s deserving of any negative press he receives.

I’m tired of battle of the billionaires, I just don’t care if they crash and burn each other down

Sorry 🤷‍♀️

Here's the triple threat for the incoming clowns:

(1) Legislative gridlock

(2) Ubiquitous litigation

(3) Incompetence & infighting

So this incoming horror-comedy show continues my list of presidential shows:

Obama: Cary Grant movie (smart, cool, sophisticated)

TFG: 3,000 Stooges meet Keystone Cops (stupid, violent, ridiculous)

Biden: Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood (sigh of relief, voice of reason)

TFG2: Jerry Springer & Married w/ Children have a mutant baby from hell (well, yeah)

“Revolving door of chaos”… why is anyone surprised about this after watching an immoral mouth-foaming baby-dictator for 9 years. Wake up. Donny’s a demented sociopath. Murdoch. Trump. Dueling sociopaths. Grab a gummie and some popcorn.

Just a curiosity here - who do you think is writing Trump’s posts these days?

Murdoch created Trump from whole cloth, showering him with billions of dollars worth of free publicity and convincing their viewers he was the Savior they thought they were looking for. Now, the ungrateful recipient of all his largesse is turning to bite the hand that has fed him for nine years, and that undoubtedly pisses him off! Rupert Murdoch can destroy what's left of Trump with a snap of his fingers! When Faux "News" turns on him, it's all over!

While we must all suffer through the absolutely ABSURD choice MAGA made to put a traitor, a rapist, a convicted felon, and a fascist Nazi pig back in the White House, let’s all try to remember that we must enjoy what we can over the next 4 years! Who didn’t break out a bottle of wine, a cold beer, or cocktail to watch round after round of the Nazis trying to seat McCarthy as the speaker??? Yes, there will be heartbreaking stories surrounding the horrific abortion bans, the deportations, and probably bad stuff we we haven’t even thought of yet… But right now #FAFO is where I’m getting my comfort!

The point is, take joy where you can Meidas Mighty because WE WILL COME OUT ON THE OTHER SIDE!!! Maybe someday we’ll even be the country we always SHOULD HAVE BEEN!

You are welcome to Murdoch. NEVER send him back to Australia. You can send back to Britain but we in OZ do NOT WANT HIM OR HIS ILK. HE IS A SHITE! Yeh he loves to manipulate. Don't worry about what the people want.

Rupert Murdoch retired about a year ago, and has ordained his eldest son Lachlan to take over The WSJ, The New York Post, and Fox News; plus many other outlets in Australia and the UK. Because Lachlan's siblings are all "left of centre", the great helmsman has chosen to lock them out, and a legal battle for control now ensues. It is widely believed that Lachlan is much more extreme than his father.

Brilliant as Meidas is, I so wish Ben and Michael would accurately target Lachlan as the boss of Fox News.

Incidentally, Lachlan "remotely" runs Fox News from the safer environment of Sydney, where he works and sleeps to US time: i.e., he's up all night, and sleeps all day.

There's one jackal in the pack I hadn't counted on when the Great Snapping, Snarling and Devouring kicks in - Rupture Murder. Who couldn't love this? Too bad the welfare of the country is at stake in this mixed-up martial arts match, no punches barred. The Dump may think he's unassailable, but don't get REDRUM on your case. You may bellow and thunder, but he can do it louder. And the NYT readers are toting heavier ammo than the moronic MAGA minions.
